perfect color, budget friendly, wide panels, attractive
This review is for the Vintage Blue curtain panels.I selected these based on the color I was looking for, as well as price, non grommet, and decent width. In short: These met all of my expectations! I love them, super lovely, even better than anticipated!Details:Color: I have a family room that I pretty much kept in warm colors (gold, orange, browns). I acquired a blue and brown rug that I intended for elsewhere when I decided to try it out in my family room. I liked it so much that I thought that if I could find a way to swap to these new colors with out spending a lot, I would go for it. SO I proceeded to look for plain blue curtains. The blue in the rug reminds me of a cornflower blue. When I found this Vintage Blue, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.Price: I normally don't comment on price, but here it was part of my selection. If I didn't find cheap enough curtains, I was not likely to make a change to my family room. This was not a need, just an impulsive want to switch things up. Curtain prices vary significantly, and I have noticed though my life that that is not necessarily indicative of quality or performance. Especially if just being used for decorative purpose. At time of my purchase, they were $7.49 a panel.Non grommet: I don't care for the look of grommets, a lot of panel choices are those grommets. These just slide on and have solid material across the top. With this style, the option is almost always there to have the little scrunching at top, or let the panel drape down flat by sliding rod through next section down.Width: The width of these panels are 54". This is pretty generous. I have seen panels (especially in discount stores) where the panels are as little as 20". Many are in the 36-42" range. This additional width will allow for the curtains to maintain a bit of ripple rather when closed than being flat when pulled closed. This also lends to greater privacy. Also accommodates wider area with less panels.I didn't buy these for blocking light, but I do like having them closed at night for a little privacy (despite living in country). They are fine. They are a standard curtain to me. They do not say they are light blocking. They do say that they "blocks out SOME light", and that "Performance varies by color". My medium blue does a nice job giving me privacy and dimming the room when the sun is beating in.I suggest that if more darkening, blocking, or privacy is needed (and you don't want stiff light blocking panels), add in another panel or two.I included a bunch of pics! Color is closest to the photos taken further away.edit/update: Just swinging by to say that I bought two more panels a couple months later, and the dye lot is the same. I was worried they wouldn't be, but all looks the same. PHEW!

Very Nice and Well Made
Color: Sage GreenSize: 54 x 72I like this single pane door panel. I didn't purchase for the energy efficiency of it so I will not speak much to that part.I purchased this panel solely due to its sage green color. Previously purchasing curtains for my bedroom, I was in need of one for the door that leads to the pool that matched in color. Although this is made from a different manufacturer, the sage green color is spot on and matches my regular window curtains perfectly. The straight-lined stitching is very well done. The facing fabric is silky looking as well as to the touch and the backing is a dark (think very dark grey) fabric adhered to the back that prevents anyone from seeing through the curtain and I would imagine, provides an adequate room darkening effect. Since my door is under a roofed area, I wasn't as concerned about room darkening and indeed this is not an advertised feature. As to the energy efficiency, I've only had it a day at this point but I'm sure the efficiency goes up with the curtain closed and the included picture shows the curtain currently open with the provided tie-back. Either way, this door's window does not receive direct sun.

Good looking curtains, good price point.
These are great. Curtains. That you need. To keep most of the light away. But these are not sheer. So some light will come through, but that's not a bad thing. I want some light to come through. These I used for my bathroom. And it doesn't have to be completely dark in my bathroom. They are good quality. Extremely easy to install. And after I hung them up, I did not have to iron them. After a few days.

Not black out but pretty
These look great & were the perfect red color. However, they are NOT light blocking; when the sun hits they make the room GLOW red! My kids love it, but the adults in the house don't like seeing a red-lit sci-fi looking hallway when the bedroom door is open.

Perfect size
Good price, quality and perfect size for the entry door to my rental. My landlord had a shear, floral which let in a lot of light, heart and no privacy. This curtain let's in enough light, filtered the full sun and definitely gave me privacy without blocking too much natural light in, plus it comes with a tie to let in more light during the day if needed. The length was perfect and no need for alteration. Good buy.

Light filtering, not room darkening, definitely not blackout
These are decent for the cheap price (the color & size I bought was cheap, anyway). I needed a 95" long rod-pocket curtain, preferably green, and not too expensive. There weren't a lot of options. I didn't NEED blackout (which I usually do need), but this is described on Amazon as "Opacity: Blackout" and these are nowhere near blackout. The images show a Sun Zero "light block meter" with these as a 2 on a scale of 1-4, with 4 being blackout, but the meter says a 2 is room darkening. Nope.I'd call them light filtering--significant light filtering, but not room darkening. You can see through them (I bought green, which is a dark color) enough to see through a window (in the dark) into a lighted room. A lighter color would be worse. This works for my needs. I usually need blackout curtains and have bought soooo many over the years (through many moves) that claim to be blackout but are not. These are in that category--not as darkening as claimed (by either Amazon's details or the Sun Zero meter).

We love them
These are SO much better than the ones we just took down! The old ones were quite sheer and at night people could see right into our whole kitchen, dining room and living room areas and then during the say due to the direction these door face the sun would just beam right in lighting up any dust and making me feel that I needed to CONSTANTLY clean my kitchen... This also made daytime miserable because of the Oklahoma heat radiating in. Seemed like no matter how much our ac ran, we couldn't move around without getting warm...THESE new curtains allow just enough light to be able to tell it is daylight outside but other than that no one can see in anymore and the amount of light/heat getting through is cut down by 90%! These are perfect for people who suffer with depression so still need SOME light/sun or like to have the option of being able to open them or have them closed as they do come with 2 tie backs as well! Which you can see in my photos. Definitely happy with them, especially at the $16 I paid for 2 panels! Thank you!

Great Curtain!
Great front door curtain. It blocks out the sunlight. It is not a heavy curtain which is good. Looks nice when you tie it open to let whatever daylight you want.
