Perfect replacement units for my 10-cup ZeroWater filration container
ZeroWater Official Replacement Water Filter Removes PFOA/PFOS 2-Pack | IAPMO certified: I have ordered this 2pk Zero Water filters on repeat. Out of all the orders I’ve placed/received for this item, I have only received one singular piece (out of the 2pk) that was defective. When I opened the one defective piece, there was black soot-type of markings in the entire top portion of the replacement filter, which is the exact area that acts as the entry point of the filtration system. I decided not to even think about what it could have been and just tossed it. I didn’t even bother to contact Amazon about it because it was only the one unit that was obviously bad. I opened the other one to check and it was absolutely fine. The piece is easy to place into my ZeroWater unit and works well in filtering the water. There is no odd taste while it is doing its job. I do not toss it at the recommended instructions to extend the life of the filter. It seems to work just as fine and there is a small taste difference once you’re entering the point of switch out time. That is when I choose to replace my filter. The screen seems to filter the water pretty fast, where you’re not waiting to long for your next cup of filtered water. The size is the perfect replacement for my 10-cup container and I never have an issue twisting the unit into the container. Several units later, I am very happy with these replacement units and will defintely be buying again.

I can drink city water again.
If your water tastes as bad as mine, you will LOVE these filter cartridges. They DO REALLY remove ALL the dissolved minerals in the water, in addition to chemicals some demented water department worker thinks would be really funny to load into the municipal water supply. The water that comes through these filters tastes really clean, if a little flat. I'll take "flat" over chlorine ANY DAY. That's what water flavorings are for, after all. You won't be disappointed in the results you get from a Zero Water system. I highly recommend it.

Expensive but they do the trick
Our tap water quality is rather abysmal and PPM count is regularly 170+. Due to that poor quality, these only last about a month so can be quite expensive, but good water quality isn't something to skimp on. They do their job well.

they work reliably, long shelf life too
2026 update: we moved in 2024 and new location has tap water that runs half the tds of FL, now I see 100-120 out of the tap. Been using our drip machine now for the morning coffee so the espresso machine is less often used. I just recently installed our last filter from previous purchase in ‘22! It’s still testing at 2ppm so doing great. Saw a two pack on prime day sale so ordered it to have on hand. So far I’ve seen no issues with the filters I’ve had on the shelf. I leave them sealed and they appear to have a very long shelf life. I’ve felt these were overpriced before I settled on the zero water pitcher. So it’s been a little aggravating to see so little discount on the multipacks. Anyway, I got this for one purpose, low tds water for our expensive automatic espresso machine. City water runs on the hard side. The fridge filter does fine for ice making and drinking water but leaves over 100 ppm tds. The fridge filter is more for chemical removal than minerals, some minerals actually create a better tasting water, too many minerals are detrimental and can build up scale inside copper piping or similar metals like brass or bronze fittings or valves. For the coffee maker, low minerals means less apt to clog the boiler or small tubing and longer periods between descaling. The zero water does bring the water down to zero, no argument. In our case being only for the coffee maker, absolute zero is generally overkill and can actually leach out some metal from the contact parts, but we go through enough water that 0 does not last more than a few wks to maybe 6 wks give or take. However, the increase from single digits seems to slow down and it will last for several months before it hits around 70 or so when it then seems to accelerate so I normally change it around the 70 ppm level. Also, it seems over this level can result in leaching from the filter back into the water which results in bad tasting water. So for our use a 4 pack will last for a year or so. Considering 3rd party filters, our usage rate is not enough to justify risking performance for a few $ savings. If the cost was a significant difference or our usage rate was much faster, I’d try some. For now I’ll stick with zerowater. My only complaint is some of the zero water pitchers we received in the mail were not built or handled well, 2 with the spigot leaked in the fridge causing a mess, a replacement without the spigot arrived with a hairline crack along the bottom that also leaked in the fridge. Finally the 3rd replacement is a smaller pitcher but has no leaks, however where the filter threads onto the holder, the threads are barely formed deep enough to allow the filter tighten up. It’s pretty disappointing to be on our 4th pitcher just to get one halfway decent.

love the taste, now have a hard time drinking any other water!
I love these filters because my water tastes so natural and fresh, not like chemicals. I love knowing the filtered water is a healthier choice. However, the filters only last us about 7-8 wks, and they cost $10 per filter or more. I need to see if there is a cheaper method of purchase since I plan to continue buying them until I find a better method of finding clear, healthy water. I did have one filter that apparently I failed to tighten and so I am not sure if my water was being filtered, I should have tested it with my meter!

They last a long time.
These are the best filters don't waste your money on the cheaper know offs they don't last as long as the Zerowater filters. I have tried two other brands and yes they worked but only last like half the time.

Warning! These are or may be knock off, less life Zero Water Filters shipped & sold by Amazon LLC
I was purchasing my Zero Water Filters for at least 1 to 2 years directly from Amazon LLC in the big packs being the 8 & the 12-pack. Not anymore, I'm not & will not be!! I was noticing that my Zero Water Filters were going bad very quickly after just 20 to 30 days of use which they never used to & would last me 3 to 4 months at least which was awesome & made me really like the quality of Zero Water Filters & the taste of my Water. I could not get down to or understand why the Zero Water Filters were going bad on me so fast & neither could my Mom who also had a Zero Water Pitcher & was buying her filters from me at times when she did not have any more for her Water Pitcher which were as already known here, (ordered from Amazon.com & sold by Amazon LLC). We were both experiencing this 20 to 30 day only Zero Water Filter life that seemed odd & very worthless to keep buying these Zero Water Filters with them becoming & turning out in this negative way for unknown reasons. I was considering trashing my Zero Water Pitcher & going with another brand of filtered water pitcher because of the 20 to 30 day only Zero Water Filter usage. She was doing research on what brands remove the most contaminants & impurities. Zero Water was the only one that she had read that helps the most with removing all the impurities & contaminants from Water as compared to all the other brands available out there on the market that don't & can't even come close to what Zero Water does & is capable of. Therefore, on her own, she decided that she was not going to be like me & change out to another brand of water filtration pitcher. She instead decided to stick with Zero Water after all but instead, order the 8 pack of Zero Water Filters from Walmart.com & pick them up in store. After she got them & opened them up, I noticed & she did too, that they were fully filled up to the very top with the charcoal gravel and other stuff that Zero Water puts inside their Water filters to make the Zero Water as pure as it gets which is 000 PPM upon a fresh filter installation. I still had one of my Zero Water Filters left from Amazon at this time. Therefore, I decided to compare them & see what might be different from her new ones & my last Zero Water Filter From Amazon LLC. It turns out that the Zero Water Filters shipped & sold by Amazon LLC that I'd previously ordered were only filled up 50% inside the Zero Water Filter with lots of empty air space. My Mom's Zero Water Filters that she ordered from Walmart & sold directly by Walmart.com were filled up inside at 100% as they should be with no air space unlike the ones that I ordered directly from Amazon LLC for my Zero Water Pitcher. She installed one of the new Zero Water Filters from Walmart that she ordered & then had me test her water out with the Zero Water PPM Tester after she had one of the new Zero Water Filters that she ordered from Walmart installed on her water pitcher for 2 months. The turnout was nice & shockingly unexpected being only 002 PPM after 2 months & counting of having one of her new Zero Water filters from Walmart installed on her Zero Water Pitcher. She was using & filling her Zero Water Pitcher up 2 times per day. That right there had just proved & made an overwhelming & shocking point to both of us with no questions asked? It meant that me & her had been getting screwed & ripped off with cheap, possibly recycled & resold knock off Zero Water Filters that Amazon LLC was receiving from whoever & then selling them to their customers like me which as me & my Mother both found out, only last up to 1 month for as expensive as they are & sold by Amazon LLC directly none the less! These sold here on Amazon by Amazon LLC were not 100% filled up to the very top with the Zero Water purification ingredients but instead, only at 60% as compared to the Zero Water Filters sold directly from & shipped by Walmart.com which are filled up all the way at 100%. The Zero Water Filters sold directly from & shipped by Walmart.com last 2 to 3 times longer than these knock off Zero Water Filters being sold & shipped to Amazon LLC for us to then purchase & waste our hard-earned dollars on!! Me & my Mom will no longer purchase Zero Water Filters from Amazon LLC ever again. We will continue to purchase them from directly from Walmart.com for the same price but for way better quality as well as way longer lasting Zero Water Filters that don't go bad in 20 to 30 Days’ time like these ones sold here directly by Amazon LLC. They are for sure recycled, remanufactured knock offs that again, are not 100% filled up inside the filter & also too, have been soggy & wet inside the plastic packaging when we opened them up to install on our Zero Water Pitchers which to me was always suspicious & did not seem quite right either. I recommend purchasing these Zero Water Filters directly from Walmart.com instead of Amazon LLC. Don't waste your money here like I did for 2 years straight on useless, less life Zero Water Filters that aren't any cheaper than Walmart.com & that only last up to 1 month per water filter as compared to the 2 to 3 times longer lasting better ones that are shipped & sold directly by Walmart.com which aren't useless knock offs yet Fingers crossed. They are by far the real thing that last way longer unlike the ones being sold to us here by Amazon LLC.

Efficient and Effective, I recommend getting this version of Zero water
Like others I live in an area that had it's town water contaminated. Even now after they said it is clear and clean I still feel like I have to double and triple check. Zero water is definitely an improvement on the taste of my water. I prefer this type of filtration system because I feel like it actually works. The difference between this and Brita filter for me is not even close. I know Zero water has different models but I kinda prefer using this, especially since it has a better method for getting the random particles or whatever out of it. We did multiple tests comparing this to boiling water, and against just cold tap water and each time Zero water tastes better. I'm using this especially on my coffee machine water. I personally think I taste the difference. More so if you get a cheaper brand coffee like a store brand from a grocery store instead of beans from a better source. UPDATE - March 2025 I decided to measure my pH, TDS, EC, Salinity, and Temperature of my tap water (straight from the sink). I also decided to measure this by the water filtration method we are using (Zero Water - pitcher) I did a couple of scenarios as in my baseline tap water cup. The second one was a current cup filled from a previous filter change. This means it had multiple refills of the water and our current pitcher being used. So probably like 3-7 pitchers already drank. The other test was from a new separate zero water pitcher that has had only one single drain using all 64ozs. I've labeled it as SINK, PITCHER A & PITCHER B each of the pitchers filters had just been changed and I wanted to have a separate comparison for each. I do want to see this tested again after the filter is ready to be renewed (as Zero water suggests it at 006ppm) I really am surprised that the basic tester Zero water gives you is actually good enough just to show you how much bad or good it is working. I did notice that the tested I used which had the ability to test multiple ways was by far a better method and way more reliable andrs accurate in my opinion. Below is the list of tests I have found for my own personal experience and test. I suggest you check it out yourself. Especially when you talk about the difference between the SINK water and the water from the SHOWER/Bathroom Sink. It'll open up your eyes as to why the bathroom was irritating the SKIN for some of the people in my household. I would recommend getting the AquSoft tester & the Zero water filter for drinking. Aside from reverse osmosis filters, this is hands down the best option for those on a budget and are very interested in their own health. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-1 = SINK (TAP WATER) Zero Water Tester probe 325 567ppm 75.2° 549ppm 74.1° 567ppm 73.7° 1156us/cm 73.4° 1155us/cm 73.2° 1151us/cm 73.2° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 7.91ph 73.0° 7.79ph 73.0° 7.74ph 73.0° -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-2 = ZERO Pitcher A Zero Water Tester probe 000 001ppm 74.3 004ppm 74.8° 002ppm 75.0° 006us/cm 75.2° 007us/cm 75.3° 011 75.3° 000% Salinty 75.5° 000% Salinity 75.5° 000% Salinity 76.5° 6.01ph 75.5° 5.86ph 75.5° 5.78ph 75.5° -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-3 = ZERO Pitcher B Zero Water Tester probe 000 000ppm 75.0° 000ppm 75.0° 000ppm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000% Salinty 74.8° 000% Salinity 74.8° 000% Salinity 74.6° 6.30ph 74.6° 6.13p 74.6° 6.07ph 74.6°

Filter works good (I hope at least). A bit slow but that's understandable.
The measurement I've done is only with the measure stick that comes with the filter can this filter is made for. It only shows the amount of particles in the water. Not sure if this is correct or not. How big are the particles etc. What things can't this measure. If its full of particles that this device can't measure maybe the water isn't that clean. I don't know. It tastes good at least and doesn't give the calcium/water stains on things. A bit slow but if it filters out most particulate matter in the water then that's understandable.
