I've been using these patches for 3 years now. They are a little pricey, but compared to other patches I've tried, they are well worth it. They protect my CGM from coming off early. And they protect the CGM while I'm swimming. Towards the end of the 10 days, the edges start to peel up a little, but not enough to annoy me, or expose the CGM. I like that they come in lots of different colors. I've never had any skin irritation or reaction. Def recommend.

My son just started using these for Water Polo and trust me they work. We remove all the sticky pad of the patch before he applies it. The Dexcom gets a bit sticky but not sticky enough that an alcohol pad can't clean. Thankfully the edges DO NOT LIFT AT ALL. This is definitely on my Auto Ship List.

I wanted to try this product to protect my G6 over the summer because I'm very active outdoors and I wanted to keep the transmitter clean and dry. I had a 15 year career involving skin and wound care and know how to prep skin to make sure adhesive properly sticks. I've tried the patch in two different locations (the first patch came off partially and was actually holding water against my skin in the little pocket it made, so I had to remove the sensor and all 4 days after application because while it didn't stick to my skin, it stuck to the adhesive fabric around the sensor and tore the whole thing off, so out $100 there plus the price of the patches) and have even shaved the areas where I use it, despite having no body hair there in hopes that maybe I'd be removing any dry or dead skin cells that might make the adhesive less effective. I don't have oily skin and haven't been sweating, swimming, or doing anything involving debris or dirt. The first time I took a shower wearing one, it basically reacted to water like a soggy fabric bandaid and took most of the evening to dry out. I hoped for better results and tried a second patch with the new sensor I had to insert in a different location, but last night after 5 days had to remove the patch because the edges had all peeled up at least half an inch and were getting caught on clothing, which I thought would make the situation worse. I will say, this time the sensor and transmitter were still dry, but I was a little surprised by the actual design of the patch, which just leaves part of the paper you peel off in the center as a barrier so it won't stick to the transmitter. It crinkles a lot and feels very much like if you taped a bandaid wrapper to your skin. I ended up using tiny nail scissors to snip away the patch around the outside edges of the sensor's fabric adhesive area to try to preserve the sensor, because come on. The patch won't stick to my skin, but will stick to itself and the actual sensor's adhesive fabric. I'll stick to the Dexcom over patches they'll send you in the mail for free and try to figure something else out for summer activities. Wish me luck.

I use Dexcom and have had no less that 4 sensors accidently scrapped off since I started the system, by brushing against doorways, unconscious scratching in my sleep, etc. Dexcom claims they will provide their own versions of these, but you have to actively request them directly from the company rather than Dexcom providing them in the packaging with the sensors. And the few times I have tried to request them from the company, they never showed up. I came across Not Just A Patch by accident and took a chance after having scraped yet another sensor off by accident and ending up having to wait >week for my prescription to renew the next month's allotted sensor order. I can honestly say that not only have I not had another accidental tear-off after using the patches, but I have found them to be pretty reliable to maintaining adhesion during the 10 day stint that my sensors are attached. Not 100%, but enough to give comfort of mind. And I have had little to no skin reaction to the adhesive, nor the length of time the adhesive is attached. That is pretty impressive given my skin sensitivity. My only cringe is the price for a section of sticky plastic mesh. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, I am tolerating paying $1 a patch for the comfort-of-mind and lack of skin reaction, but it still seems kind of high for what is essentially a large non-sterile band aid. But I will keep buying them and be thankful for them, because sensors are expensive!

These are the best we have found for keeping Dexcon on for 10 days. We apply with a Skin Tac wipe, and they stay on fantastic. Haven’t tried it without the skin tac.

This patch is definitely not intended for the dexcomg6 sensor. It is sticky everywhere, and too big for dexcomg6 sensor. However it does not stay on. I had to use medical tape after 30 minutes.

Works great. Keeps my transmitter covered until it’s time to replace it. I have no issues taking showers or getting it wet.

These looked like some good overlays to help keep my wife's Dexcom unit on better. First of all they caused an irritation to her skin. She has many dermal allergies, so I didn't think that was too unusual. Second, the edges began to fray almost immediately and turn up all around the edges within a day or so. Since I couldn't use them for my wife, I thought I would try them for myself. I don't have problems keeping my Dexcom unit on, but I wanted to see how they worked for me. I had exactly the same problem. Skin irritation, fraying and immediate turning up around the edges. I am not sure I can recommend these. One plus, it this patch does need to be removed, it doesn't remove the sensor.

This patch does exactly what it says. It is very adhesive. I have had no problem with it coming off or unstuck in any party of the patch. It has endured fitness training and showers. I will certainly highly recommend and most definitely purchase again. Offers good protection and I have very sensitive skin and the adhesive has caused no redness or irritation. It has held up well for the full 10 days.

These stick pretty good but I had an ill allergic reaction to them. Not sure why this kind of thing never happens to me but ny skin was extremely irritated so red and itchy and got lumps all aound where the sticker was. If this didn’t happen they’d be great.

These are fantastic! I shower twice a day, workout, and moisturize and these stay stuck & keep my Dexcom in place the entire 10 days. I read one of the reviews which mentioned the ?middle paper section being irritating but that middle paper is supposed to come off. So if applied properly, these are super sticky & comfortable. I definitely recommend using an adhesive remover to take it off otherwise you might remove more than just the Dexcom (lol).
