After trying just about every bird/parrot toy on the market to keep our 1-year old white capped pionus parrot entertained, we were extremely delighted to find this amazing product, which has become our pionus's absolute favorite toy (due to its "shredability") and ours as well, due to its longevity (one of these toys will keep him entertained for at least 2-3 weeks minimum). Definitely not the cheapest toy out there, but hands-down the best you'll find in terms of your bird's "fun factor" and the hours/weeks of fun it will provide him/her. We keep one of these in his main cage, travel cage, and tabletop perch. So glad we discovered this marvelous product, which we highly recommend to small, medium, and large size bird parents.

My birds can come in and out of their cage whenever they want. When I put this toy in their cage, they won’t leave until the entire thing is gone. They love it so much, and it’s great for when they are bored. Worth the money.

I don’t know about your birds, but mine really like to destroy things. They need to destroy a lot of things regularly and they are quite good at it. Things that have been constructed for birds to safely destroy tend to be expensive because people with birds tend to have money because birds are expensive. Because you get nine of these for $30 they are about 3$ per chain of kebabs. That’s a pretty good cost ratio as far as things for birds to destroy go. I have not found a better dollar to time required to destroy ratio.

My parakeets enjoy tearing up wood toys, and these fill the bill. I have one parakeet with fatty liver disease and as a result his beak overgrows at a rapid pace. These toys help wear that beak down so there's less time between vet visits.

Alot smaller then I thought but my bird tears thru them in a day no matter the size. Like a termite. I would get a larger size next time, only because he destroys them so fast

They love this more than any other toy I've given them. The two of them chew it to bits in a week. Very happy fellows.

It took a couple weeks in the cage before the birds went near it. Once they realized it would not bite, they have had a blast playing with it. In fact it was hard to tear them away long enough to interview them about how they felt about the toy. They gave it five stars for shredding fun.

Small diameter but thick, chewy, crunchy disks. Not particularly durable as they are meant to be destroyed by your bird. No "strechiness" involved. My Amazon parrot likes to stress chew the disks and use as beak floss to clean his beak after eating. Best priced toy of its type. I would recommend it!
