OOriginal Recovery Sandal - Women’s and Men’s

I need a summer shoe that provides great arch/foot support, and that fits my feet. I recently rubbed the top of my foot raw with a new pair of closed shoes, so was looking for something that didn't rub that part of my foot. I have wide high volume feet: size 10 E or EE in Women's (usually a 9 EE or EEEE in Men's), a high arch, a high instep, and short chunky toes. I have recurring plantar fasciitis as well as pain on the side of my foot that both are much improved when I have enough support; with my high arch, it is hard to find supportive sandals (no orthotic can fit). Because there are almost no wide sandals or flip flops that also have support, my choices were limited and I had to try several average width shoes. But, we all have differently shaped feet, so what works for one in a shoe, will not work at all for another. I spent hours reading reviews, bought 4 pairs, and none worked. This time, I bought 7 pairs: Oofas, Birkenstock EFAs, Chacos, New Balance, Vionic, and 2 pair of Footminders. The Oofas were the first pair out of the box. It was so nice to put something on that was an instant possibility after the four failures earlier in the week. I ordered the 11W/9M because I figured I would gain some width and I usually wear a 9 Men's shoe. Initial fit - it was a bit snug. These are not sold as wide shoes; I was hoping that they would be both wide enough and have a long enough strap to fit over my high instep. My feet pushed into them with a bit of effort. The material is soft and doesn't rub, so I felt hopeful. Since I have had Crocs before and they are snug to start but stretch, I was also hopeful that these would stretch a bit over time. (Still have to see about that.) Width - For a shoe that is not sold as a wide, the footbed is wide. Not super wide, but wide enough for my feet, though I did size up a full size compared to a normal Women's shoe. Better yet, the thong placement was accurate for my chunky big toe. Often the placement is such that the inside of my foot hangs off the foot bed. In this shoes, my whole foot fit! Length - as suspected, they are a bit long. But, I did order up from my normal Women's size. They are not so long, however, to be a problem. Comfort and support - walking is like walking on...well, i do not know what! It is very soft and comfortable. Better yet, to me, is that the entire bottom of my foot is touching the shoe; that doesn't happen often unless I have inserts. Wear - no idea. Literally have had them a few hours. Will try to remember to post in a few months about how they wear and if they stretch out. Overall - these are a bit snug. If you have C or D width women's feet, order your normal size. E or EE, order up a size. If your arches are not high, they should be perfect. I have had them on while writing this and I can definitely tell that they are on my feet, but they are not cutting off circulation. There is still a lot of room past my toes, but I expect that with relatively short toes. See photos for more info.

As a pickle ball player with bunions and being prone to plantar fasciitis, these sandals are great. Soft and comfortable, with support. I can't seem to go barefoot anymore due to my PB addiction, these are an awesome solution for bad feet

Loooooove OOFOS! I have arthritis that has changed the structure of my feet. I have swelling in the ball of my foot that never goes away. Most shoes I cannot stand to walk in because there isn’t enough padding for the ball of that foot. I met my bff for a weekend trip to the beach and complimented her flip flop style shoes. She told me they were OOFOS and insisted I try them on and walk in them. She loves her OOFOS. She has advanced scoliosis so I knew they must have helped her. They felt heavenly! My foot was very swollen from getting ready for our trip, driving to our destination, and just being on my feet more. When I put her shoes on and walked in them I couldn’t believe that my swollen foot didn’t hurt and I wasn’t hobbling when I walked. I immediately ordered a pair and wear them every day around my house. I bought another pair to wear out and I am about to buy my third pair. These are great for arthritic feet!

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. These really are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn in my life. The only reason for not 5 stars is because let’s face it, they are not cute, the strap can also sometimes rub your feet/toes since it’s rubber. But it’s very minimal compared to cheap flip flops. Also the bottom of the shoe is starting to wear down after just one season of use. There is extra room in the toe area, which I appreciate because I have chunky toes. All in all I love them and will never buy another brand of flip flops again!

Recently diagnosed with a bone spur in my heel and painful plantar facciitis (sp?). I wear these around the house instead of slippers or going barefoot. They feel amazing, and definitely help with the pain and healing. They are true to size - select your regular shoe size. Highly recommend.

Love OOFOS! They are comfortable to wear anywhere. The quality allows you to wear them for YEARS! They conform to your feet the first time you put them on. I will order them again in the future!

My podiatrist recommend the Oofos brand because I develope callus on the bottom of my right foot. They are comfortable and I need to get some more wear out of them. Hope they stay comfortable. We shall see.

Bought as labelled as recovery flip flops as I am susceptible to shin splints due to running. It’s only been 2 weeks but wearing these is like floating on clouds compared to Teva / Reef type regular flip flops. I hope I will still feel the same after 6 months. Look isn’t the most fashionable, but I don’t care one bit. Already recommended to a friend.

届いてさっそく部屋履きに。スニーカーのサイズは24.5㎝ですが、ユニセックスの25㎝で足袋ソックス履いて違和感なしです。立ってるときには爪先にほとんど体重がかからない仕様のようです。歩くと、けり出すときにだけ爪先が床につくような。中足骨頭痛の私にはよさそうだけど、フォアフット派の人には向かないかも。しばらく履いてよさそうなら、夏に裸足になるときには女性用モデルを買ってみようかと思います。
