Womens Sexy Cap Short Sleeve V-Neck Flowy Cocktail Gown

Really needed a dress for a formal occasion on short notice while nursing. Read the reviews and took a chance with this dress, was completely floored! It was amazingly gorgeous - the cut is so complementary, flowy, and soft. The color was a rich blue and I wore it with a nice jacket so the less formal back stitching was covered. The great style even hid my 2 month postpartum figure! I'm 5'5" roughly 170 pounds; I needed 3" heels so I wouldn't be stepping on the bottom of the dress because it's cut super long. If I get to wear it again, I'll probably try to hem it. I went with the XL to make sure the top would be stretchy enough to nurse. It worked fine. Also means the waist of the dress was comfortable, not snug, and still looked wonderful. Would buy again and highly recommend to anyone who needs a formal dress they can nurse in (though you wouldn't have known it by looking at it). Amazing at the price point. If I have a wedding to go to soon, I'll definitely try to wear this again. :)

I loooooved how comfortable this dress was, and the color was absolutely PERFECT!! I will tell you that the turquoise (which is the color I most recently bought) was quite a bit lighter than the pictures, which appear teal. I will try to remember to get some photos of the dress on myself in the sunlight and in indoor lighting so you can kind of see how the dress looks in different lighting situations. Like I said - expect it to be a true 'turquoise' rather than a darker teal, if you order it in turquoise. I also own this same exact dress in plum (which I wore to my little brother's fall wedding and got TONS of compliments on) and also in white, which I will be wearing for my engagement pictures. I haven't been paid to buy these dresses and write the reviews - I just truly love them that much!! And I keep finding a need for other colors, but I ain't mad at it ;) For reference, I am 5' 7", approximately 250 pounds, pear-shaped (so most of my fat is in my gut/hips/thighs area). The dress skims perfectly over the parts that I want to look smoother, but is sooo comfortable. The material is a little heavy (on the thicker side) which I personally enjoy but some may not. It's not really a 'light, summer dress', though the turquoise one I purchased, I wore outdoors in Texas and I wasn't absolutely dying. But it's still a little on the thicker side, so just something to note. And although the shape of the neckline is criss-cross, it's still a modest dress so can be worn for more serious functions like weddings, funerals, etc. Overall - very elegant, VERY comfortable, and quite slimming. I'm more than likely going to be buying in more colors. I want to also try other dresses from this brand, but haven't yet because I just love this one so much!! Hope this helps!

Great dress, very flattering and true to size! NO NEED TO SIZE UP. Was perfect for our Halloween costume this year. Only two downsides… sleeves are a little tight if you have bigger arms and it’s very long. I’m 5’3” and even with wedges on it drug the ground. I just held it a little when walking because it was to a Halloween party so wasn’t a huge deal. But if you’re going to wear it for a special event you’d likely have to have it hemmed. For size reference (bc I hate when people don’t include it on reviews) I got a 2x, im 5’3” and 225.

Beautiful dress that fit as expected and felt very comfortable. I received many compliments on it. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to look and feel beautiful for a special occasion!

I recently ordered this dress in a different color ("blue teal quartz," which isn't teal at all- it's more of a dark sky blue and is not as bright as shown in my attached photos) and was so happy with it that I decided to get it in basic black as well. However, I couldn't decide between "black" and "matte black," and couldn't find any other customer reviews about either color, so I ordered both. The two looked identical in color on my cell phone screen, but they are definitely different in person. "Black" is more of a charcoal gray. (Ironically, when I looked at the product photos on a computer screen, "matte black" appears to be more gray, almost as if the product photos and names got mixed up.) There is not much difference between the two in terms of shine. The fabric appears to be woven differently, though. "Matte black" almost has a ribbed or striped appearance. "Black" matches "blue teal quartz" in terms of weave and thickness. Unfortunately, "matte black" is much thinner fabric, as demonstrated by my attached photo showing it next to "blue teal quartz" in front of a window. (The photo of the two next to each other without light behind them is just to show the fabric texture and weave difference.) "Matte black" has a more flimsy "hand" or feel to the fabric, which is disappointing as I was expecting a more sturdy polyester like the "blue teal quartz." In general, the "matte black" has a cheaper look and feel to it. I would have kept the "black" for the better fabric but I really wanted a more saturated color, so I returned it and stuck with the "matte black." Fabric and color aside, I really love this dress. The fit is perfect and very flattering. I love the style and long hemline. It's a beautiful dress. However, one thing to be aware of is that there is a shirred (gathered) section on the back at the waist. This does reduce the formality of the dress if this matters to you. It was a bit of a surprise to me as I did not see it in product photos and videos. I bought this dress for more formal purposes and would prefer to have it without the shirred section, but in general the dress checks all the boxes, especially for this price point.
