Great Product.
Works great on cars and lawn tractor. Keeps batteries fully charged when equipment is not in operation. Shipping was quick.

It works!
Something drains the battery in my truck. If I don't drive it for a week, it will be dead. I don't have time to hunt down the drain so I purchased this, as I don't have any outlets near where I park it. 1 week later my truck starts right up. It has been cloudy and a few days it was covered in snow and this still kept the battery topped off. I am super impressed! My one complaint is that the solar panel does not disconnect from the cord at the solar panel. Not a big deal, but I have to open the hood to disconnect it.

A more rectangular format than the square types
Seems to work fine, putting almost 15 volts out measured at the cable end. Mounted inside my windshield with truck facing early morning sun, it brought a battery at 12.1v up to 12.5 v. Sun lasts about four hours before going over the top of the truck. So about four more hours of shade with bright sky light only on the panel. Only issue is there are two batteries on my diesel Ram pickup and the other (passenger side) battery is not getting any voltage. I am charging through the power port. Looks like I have to use the alligator clips on that one and keep both charged by moving the clips to the other battery every day or so. It would be nice to have a splitter so I could plug into the power port and have another wire long enough to go past the door moulding and into the engine compartment to the second battery. Or a splitter with two sets of clips, each long enough to reach the batteries. Not use the power port. One wire could be longer than the other because I mount the panel on the lower driver side of the windshield. I will experiment by letting the batteries go down a bit and hook up the charger clips to the passenger side battery and see if the voltage reaches the driver side battery too. I don't know how these batteries are connected. The suction cups are easy to lose. They are not very secure, especially if the panel is mounted vertically. Be careful if you move the panel a lot.

Great product.
I've had alot of problems with car batteries. I don't drive much anymore and the battery looses power. Since I put in this charger, I have had no problems. I hang it in the south facing passenger window and plug it into the cigarette lighter. Never have had a problem since. Some chargers won't produce enough wattage if inside the car. I tested this device with a volt meter and only lost half a watt by putting it inside the car.

Didn't work, and broke after a few days
I used this on my second car in the hopes of maintaining the battery pending a sale, and ended up having to replace the battery because this was useless and the battery died. The car was parked outdoors in full sun all day, every day, but the charger did not manage to produce enough power to keep the battery alive. The wires are also the cheapest quality possible. I snagged one accidentally on the trunk, and it snapped in half with barely any force. AVOID.

Appears to suit my needs for a boat
I bought 2 of these, to keep boat batteries fresh over the fall & winter while it's out of the water. They seem to work just fine for keeping them charged. I can't secure them to a solid surface while the cover is on the boat, but the cables are long enough to go from the batteries around the cover with plenty of extra length so I just set them on top of the cover. They're lightweight so they could blow off with a strong wind gust, but they seem like they're sealed enough to be rained on. I may try to put them under a piece of plexiglass or something to protect them from the elements and keep them in place, but they've survived a couple of rain showers so far. UPDATE: Well, after 1 season using the chargers, both of the plastic housings are melted and cracked. They still appear to be generating power from the panel, and my batteries were kept charged, but I doubt these things will through this season.
