Commercial Soup Warmer

Great product. I was looking for another brand, went the price route on this one. I do not use it more than twice a month but what a great tool for keeping soup and more warm for family that is hit or miss on timing.

Broccoli Cheddar Soup just isn't the same without my SYBO SB-6000 Commercial Grade Soup Kettle with Hinged Lid and Detachable Stainless Steel Insert Pot for Restaurant and Big Family, 10.5 Quarts, Black. I can stir the soup with the lid on; therefore, my tears do not affect the sodium levels. It may also double as a boiled peanut warmer. Either way you use it is five stars, but I would suggest stirring the peanuts with the lid off so the sodium from the tears gives them that little extra. SYBO has thought of everything. I wish someone had thought of me

CHILI SPILL - Product is unstable to transport. It only has 3 feet instead of 4. Smart move engineering dept!!! Be sure the kettle is supported on ALL sides when transporting. I made a gentle left turn out of my driveway and had a pretty heavy box to support the turn. NOT! I'd like to know who sold the 3 feet design. The next thing you know they will start making chairs with 3 legs. SMH

I have made quite a few purchases in my time but I have to stress that THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PURCHASES EVER!!! I love to make soup and have family over so whenever we have a gathering, soup is generally served at some point. What I love about this soup pot is the amount it holds, the adjustable heat settings, the way it cleans up and the CONVENIENCE!!! In the past I had crock pots and they serve the purpose but what I love about this pot is the lid just lifts up and I don't have to worry about where to put the cover when I scoop or where to put the ladle. It all conveniently stays all together, minimizing my clean up. I look for excuses, now, to make soup =) It is a professional grade quality. If you like to serve soup to large crowds I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It is one of my FAVORITE PURCHASES of all time!!!

We are a very large family so we regularly make huge batches of soups and chilis that we eat on for days assuming it doesn’t spoil or burn. Previously it was always an issue trying to keep leftovers hot enough to not spoil, but also not burn the bottom and foul the taste of the food with that “burnt” taste… this solves that problem. The water bath principle this uses is basically the same as a double boiler that one would use to heat milk without scorching or melt chocolate without burning. Holds soups and chilis at a safe temp without burning the bottom. Would recommend getting/using a food thermometer to verify temps as the hotter it is the faster the water evaporates… and speaking of that, it’s paramount to check water levels a couple times a day and add more as needed. If all water evaporates, it will get too hot and possibly scorch your food, as well prematurely burn out heating coils. Great product and value, would recommend and buy again. Special Note: It is a bit cumbersome initially to figure out how the lid secures to the pot, but once one figures that out, it really quite ingenious in its simplicity.

The top is so damaged it looks warped two dents in the center scuff marks everywhere

I love this. I had been wanting one for a while and our Christmas party was a great excuse. I did have to watch a video on how to attach the lid, but it was easy and I was complicating it. lol.

Took to our NHS local centre where the doctors and nurses were vaccinating outside ALL DAY in the freezing cold. They now have hot soup taken to them every vaccine day - and this machine keeps it warm. Very useful!

As described. So far so good.

Bought it for my restaurant, best to keep your food warm. Use it on a daily basis for keeping my cheese broccoli soup warm.
