Background: a hefty woman who has broken 3 soft and hard wood beds in the past 5 years. This was so easy to unpack. Putting together was minimal and didn't stress my arthritic hands on the butterfly bolts. I 'stressed it' before putting my mattress on as I didn't want another collapse. Coz you know, there is el cheapo metal with nasty snags and there is reinforced welding with hard metal (how can you tell in a photo?). It appears to be of a very strong build and has taken my very heavy mattress and body and flying/jumping cat without apparent movement, or squeak. I'm really impressed and hope to come back in a year, etc, to confirm its stood the test of time. It's not pretty; but, in order to get something this strong in 'pretty' is beyond my finances; so, I am extremely happy with this purchase and deciding function first. ***** 18 month update ***** Best purchase, ever. Still heavy weight, strong and unsqueaky. I have recommended to other "hefties" and they had to wait for it to come back in stock to purchase. They have been as happy as I have. ********4 years update******** I am still mega happy. Now in t need of single beds and have returned for these purchases. Still sturdy, despite being moved numerous times and unsqueaky, amazing xxxx

I bought the double frame which is basically two single frames that clip together. It's brilliant. It's very sturdy, doesn't creak or squeak and I move around a lot when I sleep. Super easy to put together, took less than five minutes. It's perfect for me as it's a temporary solution until I move into my permanent home but I'll be using it in my Guest Bedroom as it's so comfortable. I purchased a mattress with it and a mattress topper and it's as comfortable as any Hotel bed I've slept in.

Having moved into a property with a wooden slats king size bed, I found it to be unsuitable for my needs. After months of worrying about crashing through the slats anytime I moved (which did happen a couple times!), I decided it was time to purchase something much more supportive. I was concerned about getting a new bed, simply because I assumed (wrongly) that I would need to spend hundreds of pounds to secure a genuinely sturdy and strong bed. Being 24 stone (although gradually losing weight), it was important to me that I didn’t just buy another basic wooden slat bed. After searching around for beds designed to take the weight of a man my size, I stumbled upon this one. £66 seemed to be unbelievable for a king size bed, although it is only made of metal and there isn’t too much too it. After reading many reviews about stuffiness, weights of the sleeper, and watching several YouTube videos about them, I decided to purchase the king size version of this bed. It took a little while to be dispatched, despite showing as in stock, but given Covid is going on I wasn’t too bothered. When it did arrive, I quickly went to work putting it together. Assembly is so easy! It’s a few wing nut screws, and about 20 minutes. I easily managed this on my own. The bed is very light and easy to move around. After building it, I popped the mattress on and gave it a try. Instantly I found it to be higher off the ground than my previous bed, which was an added bonus! Now I can get in and out of bed much easier. I laid down, and there was no noise, no issues or worries about falling through anything. It is an amazing bed! I’ve now slept on it for nearly a week and I’m so happy with my purchase. I obviously can’t yet comment on durability and life of the bed, but if anything changes I will update the review to reflect it. For now, though, I am extremely happy and expect this bed to last me many years.

I have had this bed base for just over a year, it was super easy to put up, very sturdy & fit for purpose. It's been perfect for just over a year but just recently a few of the metal rods that support the mattress have come loose. Excellent buy & don't regret as it was only £67, but not the best at longevity so keep this in mind when buying.

This bed frame is perfect for setting up a bed for guests. We have both the single and double version on these and love them. The double is essentially 2 of the single frames with a butterfly connector, and took all of 5 minutes to set up. The legs click in place and its really sturdy. I like the clearance underneath so you can have under bed storage! Highly recommended, for guests or longer use. We have paired this with a Vesgantti Folding mattress, both single and double. The room we have this double in was previously used as an office, but this bed fits perfectly, and really easy to stow away. If you can, keep hold of the box for the frames. Once closed up, you can place them back in the box to prevent dust. For the mattress, keep hold of the big "vacuum" bag, which you can use to store the folded mattress.

This is brilliant, and absolutely genius. It was delivered ridiculously quickly, was comfortable and storage is novel and works so well. I bought this after 13 weeks of being messed around by a certain furniture store that will remain nameless, waiting for a new wooden bed frame to be delivered. The nameless shop didn’t know what they were doing, when it would be delivered or where the frame even was. The old frame we were using was giving me mega back ache, and so we NEEDED a new frame. Well after 13 weeks of waiting, and after many an internal tantrum, I decided to buy a new bed whilst we waited for the dang bed order. Anyway, after ordering this frame at 6PM, THE NEXT DAY it arrived. The videos make it look simple to put together. Let me tell you, that video is complicated compared to how easy it was to assemble. It was SUPER straight forward. The first night sleep, I could barely believe how well I slept. Yes, weeks of being kept awake and intermittent sleeping probably helped, but I slept like the dearly departed and woke up fresher than daisies. Anyway, a few weeks later and the new bed has finally arrived. No doubt they had to grow the tree it was made from, but it’s here. Fortunately packing this frame away took less than 5 minutes. I didn’t even need help, although it does recommend a buddy give you a hand. It stores away easily and is always available it I need a new frame, or if a family member does. Genuinely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. 5 stars isn’t enough. If you’re in the fence, buy this bed frame. Just do it.

Bought this so that we can have a bed for guests, but put it away & make full use of the room in normal use. It's easy to assemble - strong enough for 2 light to medium weight people (eg: 20-30 stone combined - double or king size), but I do recommend using a piece of hardboard to lay over the frame to help spread the weight & stop the thinner metal slats from bending slightly under weight - depending on the type of mattress you use. ie: if you use a firm mattress then you probably don't need any hardboard, but a soft or medium mattress will give & likely bend the thinner metal slats. The feet have rubber so it doesn't move around & the 2 middle posts have foam on the outside, so you won't get any nasty ankle bashes. It's a good budget bed frame & there is loads of space for storage underneath. It also came with some sticky strips to stop the mattress moving about over the frame, but the mattress we used weighs about 25kg & didn't need them.

This arrived in a surprisingly small box for a double bed, and was only the size of a large suitcase and really light, so I was incredibly surprised that it was also simple to put together and actually really sturdy. The components were all nicely laid out in a blister pack and I had put it together alone in about 10 minutes. I had purchased this for my five year old because he is up most nights and I was fed up of sleeping on the floor, so most nights the bed houses myself and at least one child (often 2 or 3!). It is silent; not so much as a creak (even when they are jumping on it!), the is loads of storage space underneath, and as there is no fussy frame or headboard it is compact in his small bedroom. I haven’t yet disassembled the bed, as we are currently using it long term, but this looks to be a simple enough task, and that it would fold up really small. Would be an excellent choice for visitors, but is also proving to be fine for every day use too

Compacts and durable. Comfortable sleeping. Delivered to my door and no hassle of moving. Can be easily folded and unfolded when needed. Best for rented apartments or guest bedding solutions.

If you don't want to buy a regular bed and need a quick solution, I can totally recommend these bed frames. They are quite stable and have a good hight (you can easily keep other things under it).
