TOPGREENER Paddle LED Dimmer Switch, Single Pole or 3-Way, Gold, 1 Pack

Works well for dining room chandelier, it isn’t as shinny as we hoped, but it still looks great.

I installed this dimmer switch in a 2 gang box. It worked fine, but after about the third time I was turning the switch off, I shorted it out. I believe I had part of the feed wire exposed and it brushed the ground wire and arced. It does not work anymore. I will order a replacement and update my review as to how this one works while taking care to avoid any shorts. While it was working, it seemed to work fine. It dimmed just as expected. The gold color matched the picture, which was important because the other switch in that gang box was also gold and I wanted the switches to match. The switch installs the same as any dimmer switch. Black wire to feed, Red wire to the lights. Optional second red wire if used as a 3-way switch, and a green wire to ground. The switch is thicker/deeper than a standard switch, about the same as other dimmers, so make sure you have enough room in your box for the wires. Again, I will update this review after I order another switch and install it and use it for a few days. UPDATE: I repurchased and reinstalled this switch. It’s been a few months and I haven’t had any issues with it. I was careful to make sure there were no exposed wires in the gang box this time. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Non traditional light switch, but it works. I hate that it doesn't have a plate. I tried to paint one to match, but of course I couldn't get it exact. I guess it's common that a switch doesn't have a plate, but you'd think since it's a random gold that they could give you one. The listing is accurate, I just thought it would be easier to match or it would look better with white. Also, when I was installing I wasn't sure which way was on/off because it's left/right. I still couldn't tell you - but it works. Just different from the brain to think up/down - something to note.

Great quality and nice looking. Paddle switch had nice soft click and slider works great on led lights. Installation is easy and instructions are clear. Color is a very dark gray, like gunsmoke gray so even though I like it it doesn't match any of the other gray switches. This kind of switch needs to come with a matching plate, which it didn't.
