Quick fix for a missing remote
Works perfectly with my Sony BVD-e2100 Blu/Ray surround sound. I would have liked the volume buttons to be more substantial.

Perfect replacement
For some weird reason the volume key on my stock Sony remote quit working. I was in a scramble and even ready to buy a new theater system until I figured out it was the bad remote. So a factory replacement is like 40 dollars plus shipping and with covid who knows how long that would take to get here from overseas? I then found this generic one on Amazon. Being a Prime member it was at my house in 2 days. Works absolutely perfect and was less than 10 dollars. Amazing replacement and great service from seller.

Same as the original remote minus Sony Imprimatur
If this looks like your failed original remote, it will most likely work with your Sony surround system. My power button on my Sony remote quit on me after 12 years and this this $7 controller saved me hundreds by not forcing me into a new sound system purchase. Only difference between the two controllers is the absence of the Sony logo.

Good replacement for OEM Sony remote
While I never had the original Sony remote, this product enables a hand me down Blueray player to function correctly. Quality appears to be good. Uses two AA batteries.
