Prime Screen Ketone Test Strips: Testing Ketosis based on your urine, 100 Ketone Urinalysis Tester Strips

I've been following a mostly Ketogenic (and lately Ketovore) lifestyle since 2014 and never looked back. I say mostly because 12 years is a long time, and to be able to adhere to this strict lifestyle I've found that taking small breaks (on birthdays/holidays/trips) makes it much easier to stay the course. Instead of that petulant part of my brain saying, "Boohoo, poor me I can't eat noodles", it's more like "I can't wait to have x, y, or z on my birthday that's coming up [or Christmas, anniversary whatever]". Yes, sometimes those "breaks" turn into a week or two, and that's okay. I always get back on track, and Ketone test strips are the key to making sure I'm staying in the game. They even help a lot when I'm trying out something new, something that claims to be Keto but tastes too good to be true, haha. Sometimes I find that the scale is going up even when I'm on my best behavior, and I'll use strips to see that I've gotten kicked out of ketosis and then I can try to figure out why. Anyhoo, I've tried out many different types over the years. The original ones I loved were discontinued way back when, and I went through a few different ones trying to find a replacement. Found these particular strips back in 2024 and they work great. I've had them on subscribe and save since then - they're simple and inexpensive. You can get a small pack of those tiny paper dixie cups to keep in the bathroom for less mess. I got a blue dixie cup dispenser and painted it to look like the TARDIS because I'm a huge nerd. If you have to test your pee, might as well make it fun.

Easiest and cheapest test strips for ketogenic dieters! Very simple in that they only detect the presence of ketones in the urine. Similar to other urinalysis strips in the way that after urine reaches the stick, the color alters based on ketone presence and can be matched to colors on back of tub. Easy for nearly anybody to use and work great every time!

Despite closing the package tightly after every use, they seemed to stop working after a few weeks. I keep them in the bathroom so the high humidity may have been a factor. I have had similar problems with other brands so it may just be the nature of the reagent used in these products.

received today. Mail box was around 135F so I brought them in and let them cool a bit - then tried them immediately since I was concerned that they had over heated. The work great! I recommend them.

Go for whatever you find at a more affordable price. In my case these are the cheapest so far. Good and accurate results.

These test strips are FAR more superior to other brands. Accurate and durable. In the face of a violent stream of urine they hold up quite well. Never had a tab fall off like other strips. Funny note... 3 days after the expiration date of my last bottle all the strips went light gray and we're no longer usable! How do they know the exact date the expire?! Impressive. I will only buy wondview from now on.

Color change is so minimal that you can't read it. Completely useless and did not change colors in any way within just a very short time of opening the bottle...about a week later.

Be aware ( I was not) that there is a disclaimer on the bottle that the strips should be used within 90 days of the seal being broken. This is not something I noticed when I made my decision to buy this brand. I bought my bottle of strips back in October. I fast once/week and used these strips only when I fast. I always reseal the bottle after use. I noticed around January that the strips seemed to stop providing a reading. The reagent area is now gray. I didn't have any problems with them until then. I still have over half a bottle of strips that are, unfortunately, useless to me now. Make sure you will use them all within the recommended 90 days.
