great, reasonably priced riding boots
My daughter (9) loves these boots, and I loved the price. It is true what the other reviewers say, the boots deliberately have a snug fit. My daughter is slim and does not have large calves, so it was no problem for her. Getting them on and off the very first time was a challenge, and I had visions of how much horse dung I was going to get all over myself after she wore them for real! But this fear did not materialize. My daughter is able to take these on and off by herself with minimal effort. In fact she can use her feet to get them off, thus eliminating the horse poo everywhere scenario. I couldn't be happier.

Order 2 sizes bigger than your street shoes.
I wear size 8.5-9 (US) shoes and I saw several online reviews for this boot style saying to order one to even two sizes bigger than your normal shoe size. So I ordered 11 Wide, the biggest they have. They fit me juuuust right. So they fit as expected having read the google shopping reviews. They’re pretty comfortable. A little wide and short in the calf for me, but I’m kinda tall and gangly. I’m 5’9” and about 130 ish pounds. These will be just fine for practice and for 4-H kids to borrow and give English riding a try. Now I won’t have to mess up my show boots for practice. I had a pair of rubber boots while I was still growing as a kid and my dad would take a tire shine spray and polish them up nice for shows. Just a little tip for ya.

Too small
Nice boots but the first pair they accidentally sent me a child’s size and the second were the right size but the calf portion is so small I couldn’t even get my leg in it!

I would carefully read the reviews before purchasing this item .
I will start off by saying the boots were really nice in the box. My 10 years old who wears a size 1 in Smoky mountain boots and tennis shoes ( just a little bit bigger than needed with the size 1) and is 69 lbs , I ordered 1 size up , the problem is that they are so snug , not sure how we will pull them over her riding breeches and her be able to walk. . They are extremely snug unless you have 'stick' legs.. Disappointed .. I am probably going to return them cause I don't see the sense in paying for something that just isn't practical for riding. If the upper part of the calf was not so tight they would work .

Solid pair of rubber riding boots
Excellent in every way: aesthetically, comfortable, easy to clean. Great riding boots for the ring equestrian that don’t break the bank before you can commit! Dublin has been around a long time so I trusted them with this and wasn’t let down. They fit the way riding boots should...if you’re unsire, google how hard it is to take of riding boots. 😉

Boot shaft is too narrow for comfort
These look very nice out of the box. The part of the boot where your foot goes fits just fine. I ordered a sz 8 and I normally wear a women's 7.5M. It's getting your foot completely into the boot that's the problem. I was able to wear the boots with socks only and I could squeeze into them with tights on, but they were very difficult to get off. They also pucker inward at the top of the boot when they are completely on. I have slim athletic calves so I think you really have to have small legs (maybe a child?) to wear these comfortably.

The Boots are pretty good quality
The Boots are pretty good quality. I personally didn't like the thick lining, I felt it heating up quickly. My foot had too much room and didn't feel comfortable. A simpler version would have been good enough for me.

WAY better than expected! But size up!
Wayyyyyyyyyyy way way better than expected feels more like synthetic leather than rubber! My daughters ADORES these so so much!!!! My daughter just started wearing size 1 read reviews on amazon and other places and ordered two sizes up SO GLAD I did we got a 3! She just turned 9 and like I said just started wearing a size 1 the 3 is perfect with room to grow order up! I was worried about the 3 but to my amazement fit perfectly! If your on the fence don’t be get them just wish they were made some where other than China :/

Perfect fit and look great!
I got these boots for my daughter who is small and has very slim legs. I had read some reviews and saw that some people had said they were a tight fit. They look lovely on her, very smart and really good value for money. She has worn them twice at the stables for hours and said they are very comfortable which, coming from her is great as she doesn’t like anything to feel restricting or ‘weird’

Durable, comfortable, good value for money
This is my third pair of these now and I love them. I bought my first pair just because I was looking for cheap boots when going riding, however, they quickly turned into my dog-walking boots for muddy walks. I've always found Wellington boots too loose (I've got pretty spindly calves) and unsupportive, and often they rub my legs and leave my ankles sore. These boots are a nice, snug fit, with a good amount of padding (my feet don't get freezing in them on cold days). They are really long lasting - the reasons I've had to replace is because the lining got worn away with 3x daily use in the first pair, and I left the second pair at my old house.

Best boots and value for money
I spend 6-12 hrs a day in these boots and always go for the same boots when they wear out. Wouldn’t buy any other rubber boot. The problem with them being hard to get on or off is avoided if you put plastic bags on your feet first, dog poo bags are perfect for the job. Boots slid on and off easy

Calf is far too slim
Ridiculously tight in the calf - bought for my daughter who has very slim calves and she couldn’t even get her foot all the way in while wearing jods despite the shoe size being correct. Really oddly sized, or maybe ours were manufactured wrong, they don’t look anything like the shape in the picture. Either way they’ve gone back and I’ve ordered Shires in the same size, which do actually fit.

For small calfs
The quality was amasing was a shame however as my thighs are huge (40cm) the lonh boot calfs were way way too small
