Does this control fan speed

It does not "automatically" control the fan speed on my 2006 Sierra Denali. I have to manually adjust the fan speed.

No wiring diagram came with this. Should I connect the wires in the same locations on the plug or go black to black and red to red?

If I remember correctly I installed mine in a chevy and it was black to black red to red and purple to purple. The red and black would be your 12 volt constant and neutral/ground wires while the purple should be the signal wire from your automatic climate control module. But I don't know what vehicle your are dealing with so I don't know the wire color code you have to determine which is which on your vehicle without testing for power and neutral/ground. Hope that helps some!

This fit the rear blower motor in a 2005 trailblazer ext?

This should fit your trailblazer but it should be for the front blower with automatic climate controls. The rear resistor " may" be a dealer part. Try GMPARTSONLINE and see if you can get a part # to cross with your auto parts store or on the web.
