DC novels and comics!
Batman: Haunted Knight is another good read from the DC Universe! This book is a must read for any aspiring collector of the genre of Batman comics Anyone who is a fan of the Batman comics will enjoy it as much as I do!

Just Classic Batman!
I don't think I have read these tales in about 20 years. I miss Jeph Loeb on Batman. While I think he put a great spin on Superman, Loeb set the foundation for all of the visual medium for Batman. This collection of three one-shots gives us good Scarecrow and Mad Hatter Halloween stories. My favorite was the final story with a retelling of A Christmas Carol but Halloween and Batman.

serviceable batman tales
3.5 stars, not outstanding but decent. This reminded me of a less psychotic version of Cooke's Batman: Ego looking more at Bruce Wayne and the cost(?) of being Batman with three stories that look at love, fatherhood/family (more of a focus on Jim Gordon), and legacy.

These stories are well written and have a unique take on several beloved characters… I completely recommend this for some light reading in between some of the more intense story’s.

Good but not great
Good but not amazing. Three shorter stories, so no deeper developments happening. One of them is heavily inspired by a beloved story by a famous british writer, I will leave it as a surprise to find out which. The art is good and although maybe not great, I like the slightly more muted coloring compared to for example what is generally found in modern works such as The New 52.

Not quite as thrilling as Long Halloween
A fine collection of Batman stories. Being short stories, they're not as gripping as The Long Halloween or Dark Victory, but the noir mood and artwork makes this volume a worthy piece in one's Batman collection.
