Animal Essentials Detox/Allergy Blend 2 oz

My dog is a one and a half year old GSD mix. For two months he stopped eating completely. His diet went down to 2/3 bites(few treats in the morning, few in the evening) in a week. He drank water maybe once a day. We tried everything but did not lose hope. He would not even come near his kibble or rice with chicken(his favorite). God knows how was surviving. He would lick his butt and just be laying down all day. None of the anti allergic / anal gland medicines/cleaning worked from his vet. His fecal test came out normal (no infection). Only bright spot was that he would be active during evening and that was the time I would spoon feed him chicken soup with chicken absolutely minced in it. So finally I spoke to my vet and got an estimate of two thousand dollars for the tests he would need to do. Well it rang a bell and I knew they want to cash in the situation. Because we have been with dogs since we opened our eyes, I wanted to try natural remedy. Started looking something for liver and appetite. Came across this medicine, and the moment I saw Dandelion roots & leaf with Milk thistle seed...wasted no time and bought it. It arrived quickly and gave him his first doze in the afternoon(Jun 30th). He had his first kibble(not a bowl but handful) at night. We could not believe it. Kept on giving ONLY one doze in the afternoon. It took 7 days for him to actually eat on his own as till that day we would feed him by spoon or hand. He had gone weak but his butt licking stopped and he was eating one meal a day. Its been two months and he is back to normal. I waited to see if this medicine worked before I write a review. I am a very picky mom for my kid and my pet. So convincing me is not easy. However, didn't need the second bottle. Thanks to this detox liquid, it saved my fur baby. Very pleased.

One of my dogs has liver cancer, Cushing's Disease and arthritis. I'm giving him several different holistic meds so I'm not sure whether all of them are working together or whether just one specific one is but what I can say is that my Ozzie takes this medicine easily in some food and I have noticed a big improvement in his overall condition since we started this about 2-2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm also putting chlorophyll drops in his drinking water and that also might be working as it's an antifungal and from listening to Doug Kaufmann, cancer is very likely either caused by fungi or is mistaken as cancer when it's really a fungal infection. I'm not medically trained to know which meds are the best but I do have to say that these Detox drops seem to have made a difference in Ozzie's condition. I'm also using Liver Defense and Super Immune from this same company...I alternate them so as not to overload Ozzie's system. So far we're very happy with the way this seems to be helping him. He's more alert and he's begun eating again which makes this fur baby mama VERY happy!

no where on the description does it say that it contains grain alcohol - I read it before I bought it but not before I gave it to my poor girl and she got sick

My cat does not care for this at all - I force it down her with the stopper every day. That said - - it works great! My cat has bad skin/itching problems. We have tried everything for her, all the natural anti-itch remedies and even steroids from the vet. NOTHING comes close to helping as much as this. She improved within a week of using this only once a day, and now she has no bald spots at all. She still does itch quite a bit, but not enough to lose her hair. I have noticed some overall improvements to her health: her fur is now soft and downy, she is more energetic and her eyes are brighter. She plays a lot more now. I would have given it 5 stars, but the taste is bad for her.

I bought this as our dog did not take well to some other 'natural' meds we bought to help her teeth issues (too old for surgery) at all... thought this might help her to get them through her system quicker and flush out... well wow oh wow.. she is like a new dog... her gums are better than they have been in months (so they are even helping that!!) and she is playing and active like she is a few years younger than she is (11).every animal is different, but this stuff has had a big difference on our dog for the better.

My "kid" wasn't feeling well and got steadily sick. A decision was made to take her off of all her medicine and try homeopathic options. Her liver levels were so high the lab couldn't count and provide an accurate report. I started her on this medicine for her liver and another homeopathic option for her kidneys (those levels were high also). It took several months but she recovered wonderfully and is now a much happier "kid". Consult with your vet and determine if a homeopathic option is right for you. I am still ordering this item and currently have two refill bottles in my cabinet for my "kid" to maintain her best health at 15.5 years old.

I like the ingredients in this tincture but it made my 15 pound dogs sick to their stomachs and I will try again but next time I will water down the mixture to avoid stomach upset and make sure to only give after they have eaten a meal.

Great product. Should consult or research natural products for your pet before using, though. My dog hears me unscrew the bottle and comes running. We use it to manage their Lyme symptoms.

This product has been beneficial in helping to relieve my dogs yeasty ears along with proper diet and probiotics and digestive enzymes.
