She blends in beautifully with my dragon statues, as to not offend family members who don't understand her. She provides calmness into the room and I can feel a huge difference. I was scared that I may not have space for her in the alter I created for her, but this statue is the perfect size. I just needed a small statue for my small alter for her. So far I sense she loves the dragons, flowers and the combination of the five elements for her (candle for Fire, shells and rocks for Earth, water operated essential oil for Water and scented vapors it releases for Air; I also keep swords and jewelry close for Metal; dragons are close by as guardians/messengers of the supernatural). She does get annoyed by Eleguas' toys being close by, but understands that he is a connector between Earthy world and the spiritual; also that he is a mischievous child and properly enjoys sharing his toys with another mother-like being near him. There is just a huge difference in how my room feels. Appearance, very colorful. Most Amazon photos don't seem to match with what I get, but in this case the statues' colors are very eye popping. As a person, who appreciates color and light, this statue is such a delight to look at. It really does liven up the room. I highly recommend this version, even if not a devotee. The owl and globe just completes the whole piece and it speaks to the intellectual aspects of ones life. The eight inch height makes it travel size and easy to place in small spaces, like dorms or tiny houses.
