BONE Handbook

I am a huge Bone fan and collector so of course I had to have this as well.It is similar to The "Bone Sourcebook", but in a book form and printed by Scholastic. The book is about the same size and style as the other softcover Scholastic printings of the Bone comics, so overall it is good quality.The information inside covers a wide range of topics, from a good overview of the story, the history of Jeff Smith, the fictional history of the valley, some fun facts, and a few rarely seen comic pages with little side stories. With this full-color book you also get a cardboard foldy pop-out thing of one of the stupid rat creatures that is also a little fun in its own way.If you are new you Bone, this is a good place to start. If you are a Bone veteran, you can pass as you are probably not missing anything that you have never seen before. If you do not plan on reading Bone but want to be prepared for when the movie comes out (in the works right now), this might also work for you in that regard. Overall, a quality product, but a lot of Bone fans can skip it.

I think the book is good because the facts are important thing and I like it. The book is not required to use or read that book but it is for the lovers of bone books and I think the book is helpful to understand what the book give us.

I can't tell you how many people I have recommended Bone to. Every time I am in a comic book store and see a mother and a youngster looking for something to break into in the comic scene. The first thing that comes to mind is Bone. It's a great all ages book, it's well written and your kids will love it. With all the "adult" stuff out there... you really need to be cautious what your children are reading. Bone is quality and safe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

KID ENJOYED IT THOUGH, BUT NOT A GOOD XMAS PRESENT!!

I loved the BONE series. I also enjoyed the Rose, Stupid Rat Stories, and the Quest for the Spark. So when I learned about this book, I knew I had to get it. It's nice to get some more information on a series and characters you know and loce and learn some new details. If you know someone who loves BONE, or love it yourself, I recommend this book.

Nice way to get boys back into their Bone books again, good quality and easy to read. He added it to his collection, but not a good choice to count as "reading" for school.
