4 in1 Multi-Function Refillable & Retractable Ballpoint Pen + 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil, Fine Point, Black Metal Barrel, Black/Red/Blue Inks, Multicolor Pen With Metal Gift Box

I've had my pen over a year and when I ran out of ink and replaced them with these, I was pleasantly surprised. The ink line on paper is bolder than the originals and easier to see. The blue appears to be a "blue - black", but it still looks like a dark blue. The red is a good red and bolder than the original which makes it great for corrections, easier to see. The black is just black. I think they will need to be replaced more often because they leave more ink on the page, but scroll across the page easier. The only negative I could find, if I had to find one, would be the diameter of the refill, or the circumference of the "tube" is slightly smaller than the original. The original took a bit of tugging to release it from the holder in the pen. The replacements slide into the holder with little resistance and don't have as strong a attachment to the holder. That being said, I've never experienced an issue with a refill or ink cartridge falling out. I'm very pleased with these and may order more on the off chance they go off the market. Definitely worth the money. I would almost recommend ditching the originals and going with these.

I have several multi-pens (Jetstream, Rotring, BIC, Sharbo, Hi-Tec, Pentel, Uniball). I appreciate the efficiency of housing multiple pens in the same body. Here are some things that stand out to me about this pen. PROS: The overall look and feel of the pen is nice, thin, and of good quality. The black pen has a nice matte finish and the textured grip does make it easier to write. The metal body should be sturdy enough to withstand accidental drops. The threads are noticeably tight. The ballpoint pens (probably 0.7 mm) lay down a nice wet line right out of the box and I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the ballpoint pens. The pencil writes as predicted. The mechanism to select the color works relatively well. You might need to unscrew the grip and make sure each barrel is securely inserted into the pen body. CONS: It would have been nice to have an eraser for the pencil under the cap. Also, I had some issues using the blue ballpoint pen. When I depressed the cap, the blue tip would stick out too far and I could not retract it. But once you press the tip back in, it was fixed. They key is not to press the end cap down too hard. Summary: Overall, this is a nice pen that is appropriate to give as a gift. It looks nice, works pretty well, and comes in a presentable package. I have a Rotring multipen that is similar to this pen. This pen writes better and is a much better buy.

This might be the coolest pen I've ever owned. It is small like a regular pen so it fits into my planters pen spot and it actually has four colors plus a pencil. The field is great in the fit and finish our high-quality on his pen, it feels fantastic in your hand and it writes really well. I would definitely buy this pen again. Are usually right in black and then I highlight things in red that need to be taken care of and prioritized so this gives me the ability to do that while also having a blue and green ink load inside there in case I want to make something else stand out in my planner. Realizing that we live in an electronica world and most of my work is electronica I still do a fair amount of writing and checklists and this pen is my new favorite pen. I have other pens that are well over $200 and they are now put away because I use this pen every day

You never know how important color and emphasis is until you use these. I had the old Tech 3 pens from another company before and was bummed when they disappeared from the Market. Finding replacement ink was a challenge, and then these SMTTW pens showed up in my recommended products. I took a chance, and yes there is a little getting used to retracting the pen, and turning it so the color you want is face up and then clicking, but once you get it, it becomes so natural. The pens are light and feel sturdy and the ink flows smoothly and evenly. Highly recommended.

Simply put - JUNK... *UPDATE - [And as I promised SMTTW] After afew attempts, at contacting SMTTW [Seller/Maker] - And perhaps in response to my 'review' below, they; SMTTW offered up a 'Full Refund' [which I took], regarding my dissatisfaction with their product and service. For me the matter is closed AND no, I will not purchase from them in the future - Don't waste your time /or your MONEY on these 'D1' - multi-pens mini-cartridges from China. I bought mine in March 2022 [now it's April] and needed to re-new my Staedtler 'Retro3' black and red inks. Firstly, these don't fit - The barrel is to narrow [under-sized] and falls out; That is they'll not 'lock-in' and stay secured. Secondly, out of 6 - YES, six cartridges; I finally found one, which wasn't dried out and would write... AND just to see if these cartridges were perhaps not made for a Staedtler multi-pen, I tried them in afew other multi-pens I own - These WILL NOT work in the Skilcraft 'pilot' multi-pen - The 'new' Retro 3 - The rOtring 'quads' or 'trios' - And on one or two other 'older' styled multi-pens, I've had for years; This being the 'shaft' or barrel cartridge is undersized and doesn't securely lock into the pen [and the fact the ink's are poorly made and dried out]. Simply put, don't waste your time of these CHEAP cartridges and seek out another manufacturer. It's your money...

Construction seems solid and it’s an awesome pen, but unfortunately the pencil is defective in the one I received. The lead slips up into the pen when applied to paper. Updated review 5/29/2019: I bought two and returned one for a replacement. Honestly, the weight and feel of the pen is great, but the quality is hit or miss. The above review is for a silver one I bought. I returned it for a replacement and while the pencil function works this time, the cap that covers the eraser is too loose and will fall of by itself. It's an annoyance and I should return it, but I'm not going to bother. The second one is a black one, and it works perfectly. All in all, I really enjoy having a nice looking pen with all the different functions (colors; and pencil). For me, the functionality of the pen outweighs my quality concerns and I'd probably buy another one in the future. But if you are expecting perfection, this is not the pen for you. I should note too, the return and replacement process was absurdly easy. I just had to drop of the pen at a UPS store. I didn't even need to put the pen in a box or folder. Just dropped it off without any form of packaging, ups scanned the bar code amazon provided, and that was it.

This multi pen is nice, and not too thick. I wanted a multi that wasn’t super thick so I opted out on the green ink and this works fine. I had to change out red and black soon after getting it though. I guess some of these pens sit around a while. The knock button scrapes the inside of the barrel with use revealing what is, brass I guess? The eraser is useless. Will pop out if used. I use a mechanical eraser pen or something else. I like it overall. Oh, and be patient with learning how to select the right color nib. It only takes a few seconds Good customer service too. I had one that dropped and broke. They replaced it for me

I actually really like this pen! All the people saying they couldn't figure out how to select the point they wanted just can't follow directions. The gravity selection feature is unique and works great. My only issue and why I will be returning the pen is it can only store one pencil lead at a time. This is extremely inconvenient and silly because if they changed the reservoir to the same type that Pentel and others use they would have a reasonable amount of lead storage. ... I hope they fix this feature so I can give it another shot.

A very good pen with a sophisticated look.

I bought this for studying and it has really exceeded my expectations! The mechanism is confusing at first, but once you just accept that it is powered by magic, it is really very simple to operate. I have actually used up the black ink in the space of a few weeks, but is a result of a LOT of work. Luckily it uses standard D1 refills and I have some on the way! Would definitely recommend.

Solid pen even has a mechanical pencil included very cool and nice to write and draw with, good quality and value.

This is a great pen. A good weight, well balanced and easy to hold. I have dexterity issues but not a problem with this pen. Changing the ink colour is straightforward and the pen is an extremely smooth writer.
