Unsweetened Iced Tea Bags, Gallon Size, 24ct Box (Pack of 1)

These are very large tea bags that make a gallon of tea at a time. I love the delicate flavor of Luzianne Tea, compared to the bitter harshness of some iced teas I encounter at restaurants. The bags also steep very quickly...just a few minutes recommended...but you can let them sit for longer if you want stronger and more caffeinated tea. The process is that you use 1 quart of boiling water to steep one large tea bag, and then add 3 quarts of cold water to a gallon pitcher to make each batch. The tea will still be warm, so you may want to do this in advance in order to refrigerate it. How many times have you had the restaurant experience of being served lukewarm iced tea that dissolves all the ice cubes in minutes (and therefore also dilutes it). You don't need that. Now, I have a smallish fridge, and finding room for an extra gallon jug is a challenge for me. So what I do is make the first quart of concentrated brew in a covered pitcher and refrigerate it. Then, when I want some tea, I take another quart pitcher (or a 32 oz stainless Stanley/Hydroflask bottle), and add 1 cup of the concentrated tea plus 3 cups of cold water (and sometimes a splash of lemon juice and sweetener). This way, I only have to store the quart of concentrated tea and maybe my Hydroflask if I don't finish it. Usually one batch (one tea bag) lasts me all week because I cannot drink a lot of caffeine. The product comes with 4 boxes of 24 teabags each...96 gallons worth. That is enough iced tea to last me over a year, so this is a great deal and I shared two boxes with friends! Of course, you might use it up faster, but this is a great way to have freshly-brewed, high-quality iced tea so easily. It's more economical than buying ready to drink iced tea or even powdered mix and is so easy to use. Note: The tea bags can shed a lot of tea leaf powder in the box (perhaps due to shipping?), so I do get a bit of sediment in the brewed tea as well. It is not a problem for me, as it settles and it has not interfered with my enjoyment of the tea.

Each 3 ounce bag makes 2 quarts of strong iced tea that you can add an equal volume of ice to. Very good price. Good testing tea.

If you’re a fan of iced tea, whether you like it sweet or not, this tea’s strong flavor is simply unbeatable. I make it in my Bunn coffeemaker, which brews large pots quickly, so I can whip up a perfect pitcher in no time. I enjoy it both cold and hot, and while I usually drink it plain, I sometimes add a spoonful of stevia and love it that way too. Luzianne is hands down the best tea I’ve ever tasted, and my lifelong love for tea has given me the chance to try almost every brand.

These high-powered tea bags will satisfy your caffeine habit. They make much tastier tea than Lipton tea bags. The bags themselves are also tougher and hold up well in a French press.

Delicious tea! I use 3 bags and make 1 gallon pitcher of iced tea. Didn’t realize how bad Lipton was until I started making this tea. Not going back now!

I met this tea in Atlanta. They cold brew it in BIG giant metal containers sweetened and unsweetened in all major restaurants. Wasn't able to find it in BC Canada until amazon. Awesome... I only drink this tea. Its seems to be meant for COld brew. Atlanta is super hot in summer time.
