Has anyone noticed any real differance between jarrow ultra and Jarrow dophilus when using it, besides how many types?

I like to use this brand (Jarrow Dophilus EPS) because it has a good and varied amount of probiotic strains compared to other mid-range products like it. Also, I really like that it is shelf-stable. Because each capsule is blister-sealed individually in protective plastic, you don't need to worry about keeping it refrigerated, which is very helpful to those who travel a lot. I've tried other brands with more strains, but I have never tried the ULTRA Jarrow. Reading its label, it does have a higher number of different strains. But I've been using probiotic products for so many years now, to keep me well, and I've not noticed any significant difference among them all. I would venture to say that if you have a compromised immune system, possibly from taking lots of antibiotics which kill off the GOOD bacteria inside you as well as the bad, possibly the ones like the ULTRA with higher quantities may give you more protection.

Please, I need to know the size of these pills?

Are the capsules easy to open so I can empty them and sneak it to my child?

These capsules are "enteric" coated... which allows them to survive the stomach and release the probiotic in the intestines. If you open and empty the capsules the probiotic will not survive the stomach acids, they will not work... This Brand works great for me... If you could get your child to take the capsule as directed, I'm confident they would work well too... these are a little expensive and it would be a waste if they're not taken as directed. What is the difference in these and the veggie caps?

I have not tried veggie caps and cannot speak to any differences.
