Everything about these things works well, although I feel that the laces could be a bit improved.

I love these boots. Sizing is spot on with Nike boots. Durable. Fit well. Well made. Shipped quickly. I've had some older Oakley boots that lasted 2.5 years of HARD use on duty and off duty. I had to stop using them on duty after those 2.5 years; tan boots weren't authorised anymore. I've used them occassionally since then, but have lasted another 5 years. These new Oakley boots are much lighter, but the quality apparels to rival my older boots. ...these are the first boots where I can feel cold wind through the canvas in the boots. But they don't appear to be any less rugged. The lacing is a bit loose, but you get used to it quickly.

Oakley's Mens Light Assault Boot 2 is what you expect from oakley. well constructed, functional, and durable. this boot is the real deal. competitors like under armour and others pale is comparison. traction is good, fit is good, and the light assault is ready to go. an excellent value and best buy.

Ordered these boots for my daughter who was going thru basic. The boots are night and day compared to the boots she was issued. Light, durable, comfortable and authorized for use. Get them for your service member.

The item was received on time and looked the part, everything was nice so far about the boots except for a glaring issue with the stitching. The inside of both of the boots where the tongue, front, and side of the boots was not sewn correctly so there were hard edges that dig into the side and top of my feet, they fit very well, but even after 3 minutes of just trying them on my feet were sore from this.
