Great fishing rod and reel combo
This rod is perfect for fishing at a local lake where I love to fish. It is extremely comfortable and very sensitive when the fish hooks on. U can really feel the action when reeling in. I have caught a number of rainbow trout at my local lake. For the value, it is definitely worth it. It is the perfect size and it looks very nice. Extremely light and it is easy to carry around.

Absolutely outstanding combo...and priced far below the quality level.

Poor quality rod
The rod snapped on the first decent size bass that I caught. Most brittle rod I've ever used. Update- Amazon sent a replacement, but sent the 2-piece model instead. I realized as I unboxed it that the end was very bent and weak. I am almost certain that is what was wrong with the original pole. I am not sure if it is an issue with the way they are shipping to or from Amazon. Crazy. Daiwa is a brand that I have always respected, but I almost guarantee that this replacement rod will do the same thing. I can see whiteish weak points where it was bent about 3-4 inches from the end. Unfortunate. I really like the reel.
