Great product! I bot it for myself....but my mother took off with it.....she so loves it. Stays heated pretty good. Doesn't get extremely hot which works great for aged skin.

This doesn't really get hot enough. I had another one and it turns out it is the exact same one with a different name. Would have liked it to be hotter for longer.

I've been using this heating pad for one week. This morning, I opened the microwave to find that the fabric had melted! The tag appears to have melted to the fabric covering where they touched as it heated, so if you buy this I recommend that you cut the tag off before using. However, my real beef with Therabeads is the instructions that came with it. I included a pic of the relevant paragraph, which says you can only use it 4 times in 24 hours! I needed a product that would get hot, stay hot, and be easily reusable. This is not that product.

I've had this for a little over a week and used it 8 times and it popped tonight in the microwave after 30 seconds. Very disappointing considering I paid over 40.00 dollars for it.

Pad heats up perfectly in the microwave on a turn-style for 3 minutes. I use it in combination with ICE followed by MOIST HEAT for a painful lower back. It works wonders! I'll also use moist heat a few days after I take a fall, up to 3 times/day following icing. The thin dark blue cloth to cover the moist heat pack is used to protect your skin from burn. It doesn't prevent the pack itself from gathering "nubs" in white material. This is why only 4 stars. It's similar to what happens to an old cotton top after years of wearing and washing but this occurs after only a few uses of the moist heat pad whether or not covered by the blue cloth. So glad I finally found moist heat.

The only thing that works for my upper back pain. I have several of this size.

The moist heat pack penetrates more deeply than my electrical heat pad. Use it three or four times a day. Unfortunately I did not put in cover provided each time and so the outside is getting a little used looking.
