The built in mic works fine. It is usually used in a quiet office setting but even outdoors the quality isn't bad.

Does this have a USB connnection?

Yes. It can connect with computer through USB.

Can i set up the time to record

No. As far as I know there is no way to do that.

Can this device record while is charging ?

It doesn't charge. It has replaceable batteries. I use mine every few weeks and have had it 2 years and have never had to change the batteries.
