Great for aluminum, bronze, brass, and pennies (nickel/zinc).
These have been great on aluminum blanks so far. I barely have to tap at all to get an imprint. On that note, they also work well on pewter without issue. You really don't need a hard strike. With bronze and brass, as well as pennies, I do need to strike a bit harder with my 2 lb hammer, but only marginally so. I did attempt to practice on 26 gauge steel, but without much luck. It was hardware store quality, though, so likely hardened. I haven't had a chance to test on jewelry 304 or 316 stainless. I imagine it would work, but need a heavy strike and possibly damage stamps over time. Overall, good stamps and I can tell what each says. I'm not super fond of the 4 in this set, though, because it's the open style 4 and kind of resembles a Y depending on the metal. I ultimately decided to get the newsprint set just get the 4 out of the set that looks more like a triangle. The Newsprint and Bridgette sets mix well together.

Clean, clear, and sharp.
Clear font and fun looking, without being crazy. This set was the numbers only, and very inexpensive. Used it to label aluminum plate for toggle switches on an electronic project. Easy to ready. Sharp, clear impression. I can’t attest to longevity, but I have a letter set that’s still great after 30 years. This set looks just as sturdy. The plastic box seems suitable, but probably won’t last for decades like the wooden box for my old letter set. Great price for quality product.

Such a fun tool for crafty projects!
I purchased this for a project to make garden labels with air clay, an ink pad and these stamps. They work great and aren't hard to clean. They are pretty heavy though and it would be helpful to have the letter inked on top to have it be a bit easier to be able to tell between the letters p, q, d and b because once you set them down it is very hardly to tell which are which! ultimately made a great project with my clay garden stakes and they look super cute too!

They stamp well, like the font, I have questions about the authenticity
I received these stamps today. It was a little weird they were in a impress art package, but the package had been opened. The stamps stamp clearly. I like the font. I find it weird that the stamps do not say impress art on the side. All of my other sets each individual stamp says impress art, these do not. I find this weird. The stamp quality seems good. I have questions about the authenticity.

Perfect for minimalists
These fit perfectly on the necklace kit I bought. The numbers are veryyyy small but they look really good and dainty. I used this on a gold bar necklace for a friend who had just given birth. It took some getting used to to try and figure out how many time to hammer but I found about 10-15 hits left a good imprint. Not gunna lie, I was confused when I saw that it didn't come with the number 9 but I soon realized you can flip the 6 around (duh)!

Pretty letters, easy to use
I'm brand new to metal stamping and these stamps were super easy to use. I made personalized necklaces for our daughter's volleyball team using aluminum 1" Round w/hole blanks and 5/8" Rectangle Tags. It took me a few blanks to get the hang of where to place the stamps and how hard / soft to hit them with the hammer, but I got the hang of it. I originally tried to use these on zinc metal washers from Lowes, and just couldn't hit it hard enough to make a clear impression, so that was a learning point - needed softer metal. These stamps are "deeper" than the shape stamps I used, so a lighter "tap" was sufficient to make the impression. I used a black sharpie pen to darken the impressions and wiped the excess away with alcohol on a cotton pad. Would recommend and buy again.

Hard to see what font your using
The product is good for the money paid and works as promised. I found it very hard to use without the stamp holder. It was also hard to tell which stamp you used because of the size and also no marking on the outside or end of the stamp. I used on 1 inch alum. disks and found it hard to keep the word straight and to space the stamps correctly. Maybe with practice it will be better.

Lovely stamps
Lovely set of stamps, only downside is that during use, you cannot see on the top if you have the letter up the right way, you have to check the underside and then stamp.
