AmazonBasics Collapsible Cube Cat Bed, 15 x 15 x 17 Inches, Brown

Our cat squad includes 4 cats of various ages and weights. My little girl (17 y/o) is modeling this cozy cube. I put it on the hearth of our fireplace, tucked away into a corner to see if anyone would be interested in it. She went right in and hung out for awhile, so I think that is the place it will stay for now. I considered putting it on my desk, which I may do just to change it up. I think it will draw all the cats as they love hanging out with me when I am sitting at my desk. That being said, It is something that will fit anywhere! It's uniform shape (cube), not too large of size (15"), and ease of moving, makes it easy to place wherever, whenever. The cube arrives flat, and is beyond easy to set up. It is incredibly strong, and yes it could be used as a little seat or foot stool if need be. Little dogs might like it, too. I happen to have similarly designed stool/storage/bench items and it is amazing how strong these cubes are. Absolutely collapsible and will fold flat again if you want to put it away for awhile. I don't see not using it, but tried it for review, then put it right back up again. Material is soft and seems of quality. A brushed micro fiber suede. I have it in brown which is a nice rich, dark brown. It is soft to the touch, and the additional use of fluffy sherpa steps up the comfy cozy game. The main cut out is large, and even my hefty 16+ lb young tabby (not pictured) can get in. Also, he fits on top. Possibly not the best for a gigantic breed of cat, but even so, it is a nice spot to at least sit, or use as a step to somewhere else up high (work that vertical space!) It incorporates a couple of small holes and dangling puff toys for play. Not large enough to stick head through (unless kitten), but definitely for sticking paw through and batting at toys or other kitties). Even if totally ignored, it adds an attractive element. Any time I add a new item to the house for the cats, I douse it with catnip. And I engage them in play with or around said item (even if it is only a bed). As that will draw interest and let them know it is theirs. Sometimes it takes a few days, so keep that in mind if your babies are ignoring it. I didn't notice any off-gassing, but that can be normal too of a new product. If I learn anything new (good or bad), I will be back to update as I aim to be as helpful as possible. I think this is the first amazon basics product I've come across that isnt a pile of crap. It's actually very good. Within 10 minutes my cat was in the house. She then started batting the hanging ball toy and playing with it. She slept on the top for an hour and now as shown in the pic shes playing with the ball again. Great for my cat. She is completely enthralled by it. No other toy has gotten her this hyped up in a while. So seeing as I orginally was just looking for a bed it was a great suprise. The product seems fairly sturdy. The item consists of 3 parts. The walls, the bottom cushion board, and the top cover/bed. Assembly takes a few seconds. At first it seemed to be flimsy. But when you get the bottom cushion board in place it really shores it up nicely. The top cushion fits well and seems very structurally sound. 10/10 will buy again for another room.

amazon basics cat house. First, Bailey is our almost 16 year old cat. She was a wild cat, someone found, got her spayed and gave to me.. She was just few weeks old. So Bailey has been with me a long time. BUT.....i cant pick her up....she wont let anyone touch her.....she comes from her hiding spots for meals when called, but just basically a very timid kitty. She was spending too much time under the bed (we have 5 dogs....and the puppy was bothering her). So.....got this simple cat house. She loves it! I am so happy with this as she stays in her house a lot --- better than under the bed. I put a small crocheted blanket in for her. It's in the corner of the bedroom, and she can see when anyone, or any dogs enter.....and i think she feels pretty safe in her well protected house. Simple to put together. Have not seen her on top of the house at all.....although if i put some treats on top.....they do disappear. The entire corner is protected from the dogs too. Really happy with this.

My cats and all the cats I've ever had prefer to lay in a bed that's clean. The only problem with this bed is that neither the bedding inside the cube nor the bed on top can be removed or washed. The cleaning directions that come with the bed only suggest vacuuming and over time that is not going to be good enough. So I put a Petco oval donut cat bed, 17" L X 14" W inside the cube and on top so I will be able to at least wash those and my cats immediately got in it and seem to love the bed a lot. PROS: -The bed is sturdy and well made. -I got the blue color and it's beautiful and the fabric is soft and feels expensive. -It's big and roomy so it would accommodate most adult cats. -The little porthole windows with the hanging toys are a cute touch. I've had good luck with ordering Amazon Basics items and if Amazon would make the adjustment so the bedding could be removed and washed, I'd definitely buy it and would even give it as a gift to my friends who are cat owners.

I bought this for my cat who kept sleeping inside a flimsy cloth carrier that was literally falling apart. I decided it was time to upgrade and bought this item. It seems sturdy, it was an absolute breeze to set up, and it looks nice. Sadly, my cat refuses to use it 🤷‍♀️ Update: After a few months of this thing just taking up space in my house, I decided to get rid of it. The a** cat must have heard me because she basically lives in it now. So, if your cat doesn’t seem interested in it, threaten to get rid of it. It just might work. It’s been probably a year that she’s been using it a lot and it’s still in a great shape. The only thing I would change is add a removable cushion so it’s easier to clean. Not a big deal, but I put a nice pretty cloth one there that I can just take out and wash.

Golly, it was heavy for this old lady to carry up the stairs... Oh my, what great quality, on the level of the original cat condos but without any carpet to shred off all over. It looks nice too! I got the brown (like a soft imitation suede fabric); wish the fleece was in black as I have a black cat. But I'll put a cotton throw over the top where she can now sit next to my desk and be petted. She's not too keen on getting on top of the desk. Just wanted you all to know if you are wondering about the quality, it's REALLY good and portable and would store well since it folds down too, not that it's going to be stored at all. However, if the cat joins us camping it'll pack up just fine in a canvas tote. I highly recommend this cat cube and glad to do so as I've had some poor quality items lately.

This cat house is EXACTLY what I was hoping for when I bought it. It comes in three pieces that easily stack together for storage or traveling (especially the traveling part for us). Took me 5 seconds without directions to put it together, the walls are all one piece that folds out with a fabric base. A fluffy padded insert goes into the frame to serve as the interior bed and keeps the walls rigid. The top bed slides over the walls, securing the top together and providing the desired top bed. Two "windows" to the left and right of the entrance have little fluffy balls on string for the cats to play with and also look out of. Overall, I wouldn't want to sit on it, but I have no doubts it can handle years of cats rough housing on it, it's built durable. We just got a new kitten, extremely shy, and she loved it. Her first day with us, she left the carrier and immediately set up home inside this box. I would highly recommend this to anyone that either travels with a cat (as it provides a good bed, elevation, and hiding spot for a cat in a new location while traveling) or with multiple cats who will need to share sleeping spots. This is no substitution for a cat tree though, and I would also recommend the amazon basics cat tree for a more permanent addition to your kitty's home.

I needed a cat condo for my cat after needing some thing for her to jump onto the bed. I wanted a sturdy cat condo but also something that she can sleep inside. This Amazon basic condo works great. It is very sturdy on top. My cat weighs 10 pounds and she easily was able to jump on without any issues, I put a light blanket on the inside and she took a liking to sleeping inside of the condo and it is very cozy. It has two side openings which makes it really nice with two little cat toys. The only downside is it’s a bit on the small side so if you have a very large cat it may be snug. Overall I would highly recommend. 👍👍

It's easy to put together (though for a moment I didn't realise the base of it was tucked up inside the top part). The fluffy base is solid and thick enough that when slid into the base of the floppy sided main unit gives it that rigidity to hold the sides up. Then the lid being put in just makes it fully firm Both my cats have explored it. My older girl who likes her 'cave' style fluffy beds went in and lay in it for a bit before going back to her cave but she's gone back for a few visits so I reckon a strategic positioning will make it work for her. The younger cat jumped on the roof and like that, but she likes height so ground level or just above isn't good enough for her. Give her the top of one of her trees! Important note if reading reviews of this: I saw some earlier reviews of this, and they startled me about the risk to cats because of holes on the sides where a cat could get their head stuck, so I checked and kudos to Amazon because they've changed the design and that is no longer an issue. Now the sides just have slits for a hand hold. No cat is getting their head stuck in there. (see pictures)

Muy bonita cama y resistente ya que mi gato es más grande que el promedio y lo resiste sin problema, aparte que cuenta con unas bolitas por dentro que los hace jugar, me gusto mucho el producto en general, excelente calidad precio.

I ordered this bed as our new kitten was a little skittish and seemed to want somewhere to hide in his first week at our house. I also figured a hooded bed would be a good idea to allow him space and time away from our kids. It arrived very quickly and although it was flat-packed it was very easy to throw together. There is a little window either side of the bed with a pompom toy (low down on the left side, high up on the right). He loves these and they’ve withstood vigorous play so far. Both top and bottom levels are coated with a fleece material, but the floor of the bed is harder than the top so if your cat’s a fusspot you may want to pop a soft blanket in. Mine didn’t seem to mind but we put a blanket in there anyway. The walls and side are a sort of velvety material and when Wilbur gets the megazoomies he goes at them with claws and teeth - but no rips or tears so far. Wilbur is a British Shorthair and is likely to be an absolute unit as an adult cat, but this bed is so spacious I’m not concerned about having to replace it. If you have a monstrously large Maine Coon it might be a squeeze but otherwise I think it’s a bed that will fit most adult cats. It looks nice in the room and, most importantly, he bloody loves the thing. He sleeps in it at night and occasionally ventures out to sleep on top if the radiator’s nice and warm (see pics). Would definitely recommend.
