NOT 1/2-inch peg
The peg is NOT designed to fit a 1/2-inch hole as described. There’s no resistance at all when installed in a 1/2-inch hole, it just falls out. It would fit snugly in a 3/8 or 7/16 hole. The website description should be changed. I can’t use them, had to return them.
