Not sure why there are any bad reviews on these strings, they are really great. The tension is less than with steel strings, but that is why they exist I think. They are super easy to fret and sound great, I've had no issues on my guitars. Used on a full sized acoustic tuned E to E and a tiny Ibanez Piccolo tuned A to A - both have resulted in immediate improvement with playing comfort and in my opinion they sound better too. There is no loss of volume and they sound as bright as the D'addario's I had on before them. Playing bends and vibrato is so much better and sounds much better too. I'd say the main thing is if you've experienced problems with your hands having a tough time with hard feeling steel strings then these are the answer. They are soft and gentle with no loss of sound volume or quality. They have made a huge positive difference for me.

Very good indeed. The treble strings have a slight texture and are grippy so you can ditch the long finger nails at last. The sound is fantastic. I use on my ibanez hybrid classical. I wish they were a bit cheaper though. Very prompt delivery.

Good buy

Have used this brand for steel strings for years. Bought the expensive flat wound classical strings. They were good too. Then along comes these things. G snapped after being fitted for two minutes. High e was plunky and dead. On checking it was unraveled in places. Off they came and a return started. Second set ordered. High e snapped mid length with no burrs or such to cause a failure. Well at these prices I’m done I’m afraid. Nice idea but they are rubbish quality and sound mediocre. I put the flats back on and now need to wait for treble strings to arrive.

These are the best sounding strings I have ever heard on my classical guitar. But like other reviewers , the High E string , only lasted 1 hr of playing before it snapped in exactly the same place as other reviewers . Is this a bad batch ? Cannot find anywhere to buy single strings, so replaced with a nylon that i took off to replace.

I love these strings, I can't use anything else now but Unfortunately the high E string has snapped with the last three sets so I've spent nearly a £100 this year on these strings, I ordered a spare E string just incase this last set went that arrived Sunday, has only lasted four days and the spare not arrived yet. I play in open C mainly so the high E is tuned to E, when my spare comes I'll start tuning a step down hopefully I don't have this issue. Best strings for fingerpicking, they should come with a spare E though especially for the price.

Très déçue de la qualité car la petite corde du Mi a cassé dès sa mise en place. Pourtant ce n'est pas la première fois qu'on en change on connaît donc la manœuvre.

Corde fantastiche. Montate su una Yamaha NTX 700 suonano alla grande. Non come corde di nylon ma come corde di metallo. Nonostante la bassa tensione sono adatte al bending. Montate su una parlor Art&Lutherie sono ugualmente ottime. Fate attenzione però che i due cantini non sono lisci come delle normali corde di nylon: infatti hanno un avvolgimento di nylon che "gratta" come le corde basse. Ma suonano così bene che ci sono rapidamente passato sopra.

Tolle Gitarrensaiten, die ich immer wieder nachkaufe. Der Klang ist schön hell und ähnelt Stahlsaiten. Sie halten sehr lang und lassen sich leicht aufziehen.

I like these Thomastik-Infeld hybrid guitar strings. They feel great while playing fingerstyle and they give my acoustic guitars a bit of nylon string warmth. They sound great to my ears. Delivery took a while but the strings arrived in good playing condition.
