These actually look great. They look more like they were originally part of the boots rather than a cheap aftermarket add-on or something. I used them on regular lace-up boots as opposed to slip-on riding boots so I ended up taking the chains off as I thought it looked better with this particular kind of boot. So they're still a good choice if you're looking give your boots a buckled look.

Leather Strap, Chain and Hook for my riding boots.
Loved it. They are a bit overpriced. Paid $60 CAN for a leather strap, chain and hook?! The hook is too big...if you can change the size of it so you could expose the chains a bit more? Think about it....
