I have a 4 piece couch and laminate floors. So you can imagine the amount of sliding the couch does every time you sit down or get up off it. I saw these, and after reading a good amount of reviews, I decided to give them a try. If they didn't work I'd only be out less than $10. So I ordered 2 packs, just to be sure I had enough rubber bands to use to connect 3 out of the 4 pieces (I like having one piece of my couch out on it's own). They arrived on time and in a cute little envelope. Upon opening them, they smelled pretty funky and when I saw them, I honestly thought they would be way too small to fit around my couch legs. The legs on my couch are triangular and a little bigger than if you made your thumbs and fingers into a triangle (for average woman's hands). So I played around with the bands to see how stretchy they were, and to my surprise, they reached as far as I needed them to. BUT the legs are tapered!!! So I had to improvise a little and just push part of the band up between the top of the leg and the bottom of the couch. After getting 4 bands on, as I was working on stretching the 5th band on, IT SNAPPED. Now, I had a sleeping baby while I was doing this, so you can imagine my distress in that split second to make the decision to silently swear and cry to myself, or to let out all the feelings of pain I had as that inch wide band snapped and broke on my hand..... In the end, I successfully connected my couch sections and have had no problems in the month or two I've had these bands. We do not sit gently on the couch, so the couch moves a tiny bit still, but the sections stay together. I'd definitely recommend, unless you have tapered couch legs that are too tight to the bottom of the couch to slip at least part of the rubber band between to hold it up from sliding. Also the smell mentioned earlier is gone. I only really smelled it when I opened the package and when I was messing with the bands.

Quality: These are very durable and the sturdiness is great. The smell when initially opening is a bit strong, but took around 3-4 hours after opening and I could not smell them at all! Fit: Our sectional has very large legs and it was a bit difficult to put on initially and took some wiggling around, but still fit great and after a month of use have not slipped at all! Functionality: The bands have not stretched out after a month of use and a child constantly moving and climbing on the couch! Holds the couch together perfectly! Ease of installation: I loved that I just had to slip these on and did not have to worry about screwing pieces into the couch!

I bought these to hold my modular couch together. They have very short and thick legs. When the rubber bands actually stays on, it works. But most of the time it pops off and the cushions slide around. These are also a hassle to put on.

These bands were so easy to apply. And so far I can say that it did the job. The couches no longer move around. And I’m happy with the quality and glad that they worked out. They worked out great. The price and compatibility is perfect.

Keeps my huge couch together. Don’t have to worry about my kid splitting the couch anymore. Great fit

Couches are still sliding and I feel like these rubber bands are just going to snap. Hopefully they hold. Not the most attractive if you spot them

I bought this product for my cloud couch which was constantly moving. I put these on them and the couch does not ove anymore! Wish I bought them sooner!

Bought the same item two years ago but the recent purchase is not as worth it as the 2019/2020 quality.

Just put these on my sofa today. They are just really big rubber bands. The pack came with 4 and as I only had one joint to hold together, I doubled them up. The sofa still moves a bit when the kid gets flopping on it as kids do. However it only shifts a few inches and doesn’t get separated completely making it easier to put back together. My sofa is very low to the ground and heavy so they were a bit of a job to put on, but nothing too difficult. If I had someone to hold the sofa up a few inches while I put them on it would have been very easy. I’m taking a star off because they aren’t perfect. They could be tighter. Where I doubled them up I find them good but had I not I think the sofa would move around a lot. But for less than $20 for the pack of 4 they are a decent deal if you don’t want to screw anything to your sofa.
