Well This sensor works just as well as the one that the company put in at the beginning. It programmed with no problem at all. For the cost difference and the ability to program it myself due to the internet download on how to program the sensors it was a snap. I added 2 more door sensors too. I also saved myself a $200.00 service call. I would recommend this unit highly.

I ordered 2 of these which were the same as what’s installed replace a failing unit. Upon opening them I found they had the incorrect batteries in them and the batteries had leaked and corroded both units. In short what I purchased was supposed to new and what I received was used and worthless.

Works well with FrontPoint (Alarm.com) system using Qolsys panel. Auto learns easily and has been very stable for a month. Also was easy to access the back of the window plastic for masking off areas due to a cat in the house. Masked from the back with foil tape and is undetectable from the front. Looks clean and works great.

Works as they said. I adjusted the sensitivity to most sensitive because it wasn't catching me each and every time I walked by them while doing the test...but now they do. Read the directions and mount them like the directions say for best capture. Integrates well with the Simon XT from 2009.

Our company had 12 of these in our warehouse and we have it professionally monitored with Frontpoint. We got robbed last Sunday worth $200k of merchandise. The robbers were having a shopping spree of 43 minutes and these sensors did not activate. No alarm whatsoever. The robbers actually left because we saw on camera that they did not have enough space in their vehicle. WHAT WENT WRONG??? Ill tell you why. This is a DIY sensor unit and not professionally mounted. So you have to place these in OPEN SPACES. This is a body heat detecting sensor that detect motion when an actual HUMAN walks by it. If there is a box or shelf or plant covering the sensor perimeters within 20ft, then it will NOT detect the heat! The radar does not work if anything is in its radar perimeters! Make sure you place some of these in open spots up to ankle high, just in case robbers crawl like the ones we had to deal with and Frontpoint suggest you mount these tightly up to 4 ft high off the floor where the sensors can detect the most heat in the persons abdominal areas (if they are walking robbers). Now, I have about 30 of these motion sensors in different height placements. My warehouse became an invisible matrix, not even a mouse can escape this theft season!!

This is a great motion sensor. Mounted it in the corner of the dining area for it to get a full range of motion between the kitchen on the left, dining area in the center, and living room towards the right. Very easy to program into the Simon XT alarm system. As long as you know your installer code (which maybe be different from your personal code) you should be able to program this sensor in a matter of minutes.

We have a very active 15 pound cat - she has set this motion sensor off. We have moved it to an area where there are no anomals allowed to prevent false alarms.
