I bought this light to mount on my photo booth frame. It was recommended by the seller of the frame. It provides enough light for any of the situations I've been in. I love the ability to change the temperature of the light for the room I'm in. Nowadays, you don't know if the room is going to have warm white lighting or blue white LED lighting. This light can match any of them. I usually position the light about 5 feet away from the backdrop at 50% to 70% brightness. This lights up the subjects great without being washed out. The only issue I have with this light, there is one frosted panel that does not snap in. The panel overshoots the first panel by about a quarter of an inch. It hasn't caused any issues, but it's frustrating when trying to take out or put the light back into the bag and that piece falls off. Not a deal killer.

Discovered circle lights before Thanksgiving and did a web search. I originally considered some of the smaller low cost circle lights, but after considering all the uses I'd find for the light, we selected this larger model. Our first use was a Facetime meal with our grandson that live 1,200 miles away. Our smart phone securely mounted in the center clamp for perfect alignment during our Facetime visit. We especially liked the brightness/color adjustment feature the light has and our image on the other end of our Facetime visit was evenly illuminated. The tripod the light came with enabled us to easily set up the light at the optimal table height and provides a very stable base for use. My wife does a morning exercise routine, via Facetime, with a group of friends. She uses this circle light on full brightness since many exercises are done standing up at a distance from the light. There is a very nice even amount of illumination from the light at all distances. The circle light mount allows a full range of adjustments in all directions and I plan to set up my digital camera in the center of the light in a horizontal position so I can use it as a copy stand to digitize hundreds of old family photographs. So far we've found lots of uses for the light and are pretty satisfied with all the features the light has. The initial cost was more then we intended to spend, but we're glad we bought it.

Welcome to another Dad's Den review. All of my ratings are based on value by comparing the price to the quality of the product. For example, I don't expect a $30 drone to perform like a $900 drone. Basically my expectations are realistic. Design/Features: I've used other products from Pixel and they all are very user friendly and this ring light is just the same. It's literally a plug and play. All of the knobs and buttons are self explanatory and are easy to use. The ring light was easy to put together and is fairly durable considering the price. It has some amazing height adjustment abilities too. It could be used on a table or it could be up about 6 feet tall. I personally use mine right in the middle as I sit at my desk for all my videos. Overall/Recommendation: I would recommend this ring light for anyone who is on a budget. It has great qualities and is easy to use. I've been using it for a month or two now and I have had zero issues with it. I actually replaced my Geeketo ring light with this one.. The

It’s a good light, can hold IPhone and Sony camera, adapter and Power supply included, bright and more then enough adjustments , Recommend.

I was able to set this up without needing the instructions. Can be made anywhere from very tall to short, with camera / phone pointing any which way (I think). The tripod collapses down real small for storage. There don’t seem to be instructions for attaching your camera / phone, but, I didn’t need them. Using all the attachments including a small extension piece, I was able to center my large iPhone in the light ring. Phone can be oriented either way. The whole assembly seems robust and well made. My photos came out good, better than usual — the missing piece! Even using the 3000K setting though, the photos seemed a bit too white or bright. Very little testing by me, but my best results came when I used the light ring AND regular household lighting. CRI 97, this is good, and important. Very happy with this purchase. I like the included cloth carry bag, for the light, but I wish there was a separate compartment for the tripod and power cord/adapter; they may or may not fit in the bag, but to avoid chance of breakage, they should not be in contact with the light fixture.

The plastic light pieces fall off regularly. Everything is cheaply made for the price. No different then the $30 ones. Why would you make a case for the light ring that doesn’t fit the tripod? When would you use one with out the other. Overall this product is more annoying then provides value. I would go with the cheaper one for $30 or spend the money and get professional lighting. Don’t get this.
