Texas Instruments TI-34 MultiView Scientific Calculator

I am highly satisfied with the calculations layout and overall performance of this Texas Instruments TI-34 MultiView scientific calculator. Sourcing this electronic math tool provides a fantastic academic asset that is perfect for middle school, high school, and advanced studies, making navigating complex topics like Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry incredibly smooth. The MultiView screen display is exceptional, supporting up to four lines simultaneously so you can compare previous entries, evaluate math equations side-by-side, and explore numeric patterns easily. It features an innovative MathPrint framework that displays fractions, math expressions, and basic symbols exactly as they appear in standard textbooks to eliminate confusion entirely. It is fully approved for official testing environments like the SAT, ACT, and AP exams, combining reliable solar and battery dual-power capability with an impact-resistant snap-on cover to deliver total structural peace of mind!

Picked this up for my son for school, and it's held up well. The four-line display is the standout feature — being able to see your whole calculation instead of just the last number typed in makes it way easier to catch mistakes. The MathPrint mode is a nice touch too; it shows fractions and exponents stacked the way they'd look in a textbook, so there's less confusion translating between what's on paper and what's on the screen. It's not a graphing calculator, so if your kid's class needs one of those, look elsewhere. But for pre-algebra, algebra, and general math, it covers everything — trig, logs, stats, the works. Buttons feel sturdy, and it's approved for the SAT/ACT/AP exams, which was a big reason we went with it. Only minor gripe: the menus take a little getting used to at first, especially coming from a more basic calculator. But that's a one-time learning curve, not an ongoing issue.

One of the best calculator I ever used. The button is very responsive and it is perfect for my school since they do not allowed the use of the TI-84 version. The screen display is very clear.

Pros: 1. excellent calculator 2. sturdy plastic construction 3. perfect for 7th grade/Middle School math 4. relatively inexpensive Cons: 1. not really usable for higher level math, so an upgrade is likely in the future well before the lifetime of this calculator is near it's end. I really didn't want to get this but this was the best choice of the recommended choices from my daughter's school for her 7th grade. I wanted to go top notch and get something that will last her not only for 7th, but all the way to college and maybe beyond. I mean, really, I bought her the "recommended" calculator last year, now this year this is the best of the "recommended" calculators, and next year, and the year after and the year after than...I know how these things work. EVERY year, I will be buying her a new calculator. Why not just get the best right now and get it out of the way so I don't have to waste time ordering/buying a new calculator every year? Well, I am still a little wary to put a $160 calculator in her hands right now (and she wants a $500 smartphone to boot)...yeah right. Show me some serious responsibility and care for the items you have and then I'll reconsider and get her the things she wants. I still have my calculators from middle school that I used in high school and then in college...and yes, they still work. Remember one thing....calculators are not like cell phones that get upgraded each and every year. The latest top of the line TI calc is the same one they have been selling for TEN YEARS...and you can still buy the same exact HP financial calculator that I bought over 30 years ago. Yeah, innovation and upgrades are not that common in the calculator industry. The only thing they do is change the exterior appears...all smoke and mirrors. CONCLUSION: If you have a kid/s going to middle school (especially 7th grade) this could be the perfect calculator to get them. Just try to get on sale...$20 is not bad, but I have seen this go down as low as $10...and that $10 savings goes a long way in buying other school supplies that you need.

just what granddaughter needed

As described

Very good price. Other stores charged too much. I’ve always used TI brand graphing calculators. It works great.

Excellent

It's working perfectly and with great accuracy.
