Universal Fiber Optic Loop Bypass Loop Adapter Compatible with BMW, Mercedes & More

Got the bypass was a little skeptic on the bypass working .starting diagnostic the fiber optics system in my 2013 c300 with no audio.found the issue with the media module .once I install the bypass turn the car on I had audio I recommend this bypass

Immediately fixed my issue on my E60 M5. My audio stopped working, as well as Bluetooth, plus an SOS malfunction. I found a guide on troubleshooting MOST bus issues. I removed part of the liner in the left side of the trunk to expose some modules. I checked the MOST connectors on the Logic 7 Amplifier, SAT module, and TCU. There was a red light from the amp and SAT, but not the TCU. This indicates the fault is likely with the SAT module. I ordered this (after trying a different one that didn't fit), and the second I plugged it in my audio kicked on. SOS warning went away and I was able to connect to Bluetooth. Luckily, I don't use SiriusXM so I don't need the SAT module and can leave the bypass plugged in. Well this seller knows their stuff and included a zip tie with the connector. A small gesture and little detail, but it was nice to see the recognition of the issue. This is the one to buy if you need a MOST bypass adapter. Thanks!

Easy fix on my 2007 BMW 328i wagon (E90 E91 E92 generation) for an SOS fault which causes the audio to not work. Used this to bypass the dead Sirius XM radio module in the trunk. Open the driver side hatch in the trunk, pull out the connector on the back of the Sirius XM module and pop this into the connector to link the two connector terminals (one connector terminal is lit up and the other is not lit). Done! 2 minute job if you know where to go. Even came with a zip tie to secure the loose connector now that it's no longer plugged into the back of the Sirius XM module. Highly recommend.

Worked great on our 2008 BMW X5. Needed it to close a optical loop when I removed the 6-disc DVD changer which was faulty. They were also great in responding very fast when I contacted them. Although it is more expensive that other products that do similar things I decided to go with them as they are an US supplier, supports veterans and product and service were 5 stars. Highly recommend !

July 10 Update I replaced the MULF-2 module, as per Adam. Everything works perfectly. Total cost is under $100. The dealer would have charged me a lot more. Excellent support over and above anything I could have expected. Original Review M&P USA provided excellent technical support which greatly exceeded my expectations. Adam, my technical support specialist was very prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me where to find faulty modules in the truck of my car, outlined steps to replace the parts and helped me order the replacement part at a very good price from eBay, By way of background, I ordered a fiber optic bypass since my 2008 BMW was showing a SOS Malfunction light. Furthermore, my Auxiliary input and phone stopped working. When I used this bypass loop to bypass the satellite radio there was no improvement. Adam helped my find another module known as MULF-2 under the spare tire. He helped me order the right part by checking the serial number of the hardware and software so that no additional programming would be needed. Bypassing this module enabled the phone to work. In order for the Aux to work, I need to replace this module. Once that is completed, I will update this review.

The stereo cutting in/out In my wife’s BMW 330i Has been the source of irritation for the last 2+ years. Our local BMW dealer quoted us $1100 to fix this issue, which I politely declined. Recently I stumbled across this fiber optic loop fix on YouTube and decided to purchase one. Directions were straightforward and very easy, even for someone like myself who HATES chasing electrical gremlins. In our car there was four modules that could be suspect so one by one we pulled the green connector and placed the fiber optics loop into that connection (which affectively bypasses that module from the system) and then checked to see if the stereo was again operating correctly. Went through the entire system and to my dismay the issue still persisted. I remember reading many reviews before I purchased this Fiber optics loop and it was mentioned that the gentleman (Adam) who Manufactures and sells this item Is very willing to help troubleshoot if need be. Matter-of-fact there’s also a small card that accompanies this fiber optic loop with contact information should you have a problem. I contacted Adam and within 20 minutes I received a text message and then a phone call. Honestly can’t even remember the last time I had a vendor contact me willing to help remedy a situation. Adam went through each step with me and while doing so I explained that over the last 24 months I had replaced a couple of the modules with used in an effort to remedy the situation. Adam explained to me that these pieces have to be coded correctly with the same identical software for them to function properly In the system. He advised me to put the old modules back into place and then troubleshoot the system again. Within 10 minutes of doing this found that the TCU module that also handles Bluetooth for the car was defective. I can honestly say in all my years I have never experienced customer service like I received from this gentleman in his company. Definitely owe him a huge debt of gratitude. His product and customer service is second to no one.
