An Airborne Review of a Jump Pack
I bought this specifically to jump with a self-contained system and not have to worry about a harness single point release to fiddle with when I'm on the drop zone. That said, I jumped it for the first time and it made everything so much easier. Inside there's plenty of storage in the large, main compartment and still ample storage in the secondary compartment. Plenty points of adjustment help customize fit and it's comfortable to wear while walking long distances. The only gripes I have thus far are 1) the red attaching loops are WAY too long as shipped and must be removed and adjusted to provide necessary tension on the release handle cable; and 2) the connection points for the hook pile tape lowering line aren't positioned in the best spot (there is a reinforced loop to connect the HPT lowering line in between the white attaching loops, but the HPT lowering line doesn't even reach the stow points to connect it to the bag). Outside of these trivial and easy to work around issues, this is a great product for use as intended. I look forward to jumping this more often and using this as a great field bag. 4/5 overall for the minor grievances. ATW!

Freaking awesome !!!!!
I was not only pleasantly surprised but elated when I pulled this out of the box. A 300 + dollar ruck for 85 bucks, I thought it would look like it walked back here from Afghanistan but it is in mint condition and is outstanding. I love the load bearing capabilities aas well as the customizeable carry adjustability of the straps and belt. I am very pleased. It is perfect for 3 + day outings , not great for short day type jaunts but still, I LOVE IT.
