Hawke Mount Inserts for Ring Mounts to add 25 MOA Elevation

The dimension of .800" overall length is not right. The photo shows two shoulders, one on either side of the shim, there is only one. The shim will cover a one inch wide ring by that I mean the length of the shim past the shoulder. I have not tried it yet but I expect these to work with my BKL two strap one inch long Rings , BKL rings are the only rings that fit Suhl, and Older Anschutz dove tails with a radiused top on the dovetail..

This item is easy to install.

The following is the description for this item. It is false, they are plastic and a little glossy. PRECISION ENGINEERED high grade aluminum for lightness, strength and a perfect fitANODIZED IN MATT BLACK to reduce glare and avoid reflectionsThey do function ok. Amazon needs to correct the description. I would not buy them knowing what I know now.

Value for money

Didn't work at all for me. I threw it away.

works ok

Not sure what these will do long term but got me out of a bind quickly without a major cost. Bought a scope that ran out of adjustment and I was looking at having to get a canted rail and different mounts and rings. Probably saved me $100. Quick and easy to install. Wish they were steel, but I think they are going to do fine long term. Can hardly see them.

Installed in 5 mins, worked perfect first try. Needed extra high mounts for my FX dreamline light to permit magazine insert. High or lower mounts blocked the magazine from seating properly. With out these shims the elevation adjustment capabilities of the Hawke 6-24x50mm scope was insufficient to zero. Problem solved with these shims. Worth the price and fast delivery. Don't waste your time cutting cans or cards.

I changed my scope and mounts and the gun was shooting far too low, these have solved the problem, but.....far too overpriced for two plastic shims!

Excellent quality, works well, easy to fit.

It works as they said great 👍
