A classic for a reason
This is a nice, sturdy board book edition of Eric Carle's classic book. The book content is terrific, with brightly colored pictures and great language for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and early readers. The nice thick board book pages mean that when a little one sticks their fingers in the holes the caterpillar "eats" through the pages, the pages won't rip like a paperback. This was a gift and apparently it was a hit! The 2 year old kept asking adults to read this to her over and over again. Just what every gift-giver likes to hear.

Great Classic Book!
This was my kiddos favorite book, would read almost every day to the point it has been memorized. It is a classic and I like how it was hard cover so you know it is durable and it has been thrown around from time to time and it held up quite well. Would buy again and even as a git.

Favorite book
This is one of my favorite books, both from when I was a child and to read to my children and now grandchildren. It engages you in having conversations about many different things, including the colors and the foods that the caterpillar is eating.

You can't go wrong with this book!
My two-year-old granddaughter loved it! We had given away all our children's books. My wife and I scrambled to order some books when my grandkids came to visit for a week. She loved this book! (We read it again and again!) Buy it!
