Works well. I've seen some complaints from some people. I have many people help me with this lock because I have problems with my hands right now. If you have thick hands you may find it difficult putting in the key to turn it to pull out the head of the latch if you pushed it all the way to the end when locking it. If you have fake nails as well, however in both instances they can open it just takes longer to maneuver. Other than that is a strong lock. Ensure the master black end is to the end of the extended latch otherwise if you lock it backwards and don't pull it out before you realize it clicks lock, you need to break it as there will be no space to enter the key the opposite way to open it. I've had this lock since August 2025 using it 5x a week.

This keyed padlock by Master is a solid piece of equipment, and it's a Master product. The keyed locks are very flexible to the point of a more tight fit since you can go further into the shackles. See pictures. The shackle is quite long should you have a distance to travel between handle to handle. However, great lock for a very reasonably price and it gives the place a more industry look and High Tech. We all remembered the school lockers and everyone was sporting a Master Combination Lock. Anything else was anything else. They came in all kinds of colors after the black and silver ones, and I'm thinking by now they must have plenty of exotic colors ones. I love these Master keyed padlocks because to me they are a novelty and different. Just remember, there is a key needed to open this keyed padlock. 😉

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this product. It was simply the wrong size. The storage unit ended up giving me the correct size to solve the problem.

Yes i ordered that easy to steal master lock that has been around forever. it is exactly what i wanted with the looong shackle. it is perfect for making it obvious that it is locked.

I bought this to practice my picking skills, hoping that it would be a challenge but, no I picked it open multiple times within minutes with just a little jiggling in the back. Of course, its sturdy but easy to get open with lock picking tools or even paper clips/bobby pins. The key also is nothing like the picture, maybe they do different keys for every lock bug mine was just a straight key with triangles cut out. I might use it for it’s intended purpose in the future, but let’s hope that anybody who wants to get in doesn’t know basic picking skills.

Not bad for a warded lock large and adjustable good for a dusty or a extremely cold climate please remember this lock is a low security warded padlock ideal for locking up the recycling bin shovels gardening tools but not for bikes lawn mowers or ATVS use a higher security lock with a shackle gard.
