Floating Neoprene Sunglass Strap - Adjustable and Anti-Slip Retainer for Glasses - Universal Fit

Before I got these, I went to the beach one day. I go into the waves and lost my glasses. I cried for three days. They were my favorite glasses. So many positive comments about them and now they were gone. I searched and searched on the internet for a solution. I remember meeting a southern bell once and she was wearing a string on her glasses. She called them croakies. I thought the idea was silly. Fast forward to today, I was on the hunt. I went to my trusty Amazon prime account and found Ukes, stylish, affordable and politically correct. I just got a fresh new set of Ray Bans - covered by my Flexible Spending Account from my health insurance. A great turtle beach pair, i think they were made especially for my face. I was excited and terrified at the same time. I rigorously looked through the reviews and was pleased. I almost cried with joy. I ordered them and they came in a jiff. Maybe there was a little too much plastic wrapping for such a small product - save the oceans- but ok. I went to my cousins pool, not too deep only six feet, as I did not want to lose them again. I placed the Ukes Premium Sunglass Strap on my new shades. They were surprisingly tight around the frame which made me exhale in relief. I threw them in the pool, in a test of my faith, and they floated. I fell to my knees. I bawled and screamed to the heavens -thank you thank you lord! Now, I went to the beach. The true test. My friends and family dragged me there. I told them I was not ready. I could not lose my babies again. They reminded me I had my Ukes Premium Sunglass Strap. We went, it was sunny, there was a light breeze, I smelled the ocean kiss my nose with its salt. Three members of party sabotaged me. They pulled me into the water. I kicked and screamed, holding on to my sunglasses hanging loosely off my neck. I am face to face with a wave now and get knocked away. Pulled into the undertow, I lose consciousness. More from fright of losing the sunglasses then lack of knowledge in swimming. I am a phenomenal swimmer. I regain consciousness. My worst fear came true, my sunglasses are gone. I yell, in anger, in pain, in agony. Through my tears I see a multi color object in the water. I swim over expecting it to be the lost bandana of a young child. I grab at the floating rainbow, hoping to find a pot of gold at the end, and find my sunglasses attached. I exclaim in joy. And speed home to write this review. TLDR; this product works.

First off, I love the look of the strap. The design was perfect and it fit well on my sunglasses. Second, this literally saved my hundred dollar sunglasses as they fell off while paddleboarding in the ocean and thankfully the straps float so I was able to just quickly grab them and go about my day without a care in the world. Great design and great product. 10/10 would recommend it again.

The strap is good quality and I love the print, but my sunglasses were too big for the sleeves. If you wear Goodr sunglasses, these will not fit!

This is my second UKE’s Premium Sunglass Strap – I have one in cotton and one in neoprene which I use with my prescription sunglasses. Prescription lenses really distort the temples and how my glasses fit or stay on my head. What I have discovered: • The cotton UKE’s tend to fit the thicker framed sunglasses. I guess this might because of the rubber washer sewn into the strap. • The neoprene UKE’s do slide up on the thicker framed sunglasses; but only over the part of the temple that wraps around the ear. • Both products hold my sunglasses in place. • The cotton strap hangs a little lower than the neoprene strap – this is not a deal breaker. I love color, so I am happy that there were numerous design choices to choose from – of course, I have to admit, I picked the same design for both straps, but I really liked it. I do not think you can go wrong with the UKE’s Premium Sunglass Strap – I would like to see this Amazon seller create a custom pack of say, three straps, for a lower prices, for example, three units for $33. I think I would buy three more.

I've been using Ukes for as long as I can remember. I grew up sailing so they were necessary and now I have a hard time wearing sunglasses without them. They help me from setting sunglasses down and forgetting them or hooking them over my shirt collar only for them to fall off later. I own multiple pairs of this neoprene style and have also gifted multiple pairs after receiving compliments or inquiries about them. The neoprene strap material is lightweight and comfortable around the neck. You quickly forget they're there until you need to take your sunglasses off and then it's nice to be able to drop them and know your sunglasses or secure. As an amateur photographer I am constantly switching between camera lens and sunglasses and these straps are a game changer for how convenient it makes that transition. They straps are supposed to fit various frame sizes. It's rare my sunglasses do fit the strap through. I usually force them on, stretching the neoprene fabric. In all my years using this strap it's never compromised the quality or performance of the strap or jeopardized the sunglass frame though. It just requires a bit of force to get the straps on my frames (Goodr). I wear them for adventures (skiing, swimming, hiking) but also everyday use. I'm impressed how well the straps hold up against exposure to sun, water, etc. and still look new without the durability being compromised.

This strap is comfortable around your neck and the material is decent. My complaints are the difficulty with getting it on my glasses and the extra dimension it added to where I wear my glasses on my head. This doesn’t feel like it will stay on your glasses at all it actually slid off with light pressure on one pair of my glasses and was a pain the neck to get it on the ones I bought it for. The main reason I liked this specific one is because it’s supposed to float and intended to use it for fishing, but I like to wear a cap as well and this is not comfortable to wear on my glasses or with my hat and completely shifts my glasses. If you are looking for something for kids this would be great and it will add a little cushion to the glasses, but for my needs just not going to work.

Love these UKES sunglasses strap! Love the Guy Harvey design! Very summery and coastal! They grip the sunglasses tightly and I don’t worry about them falling off!

Great product! Best features are they were not skimpy in the length of the strap, very comfortable around the back of your neck. Second, slid right on arms of two different pair(s) of prescription sunglasses. Last, I bailed on the paddle board about an hour after I installed the product, worked like it should

As expected. Does the job. Not buoyant enough to stop all but the lightest of sunglasses from sinking though.
