I have had two of lessor models of this brand for several years now and they are great. I moved up to this and it is a bit larger and every bit as great. EZ to store and set up.

I bought this chair primarily for one reason to fit into the trunk of my C8 Corvette convertible I go to a lot of car shows, and most folding chairs are very uncomfortable ,a friend of mine had one of these chairs. I sat in it, and I said if this fits into my trunk of my Corvette, I’m getting it so we tried his chair in my trunk and hallelujah. It fit in my trunk so any of you guys out there that have C8 Corvettes convertibles it’ll fit in your trunk. It’s a wonderful chair. It’s comfortable. I highly recommend it.

After my recent right shoulder surgery, I could not get out of a traditional camp chair that had a sunken canvas seat and canvas sling armrests. My son had to stand in front of me with his arm out and let me pull myself up with my left hand. It was difficult because the sunken seat was so much lower than my knees and I could only use my left arm to help me get up. I did extensive research before deciding to purchase the GCI Outdoor Road-trip Camper Chair. My primary reasons for purchasing this chair were: The solid arms of this chair give me a solid base to lift myself up from with one arm while wearing a cumbersome right-arm sling. The flat seat supports my body on a flat base making it easier to get up. The front edge doesn’t cut into my thighs like those “fall into” canvas buckets of most other camp chairs. The flat seat gives greater support to my lower back and reduces undue pressure on my lower spine (degenerative disc disease). The height of the chair seat works great for me (5’1”) and I think it will work well for others who are taller too, because the chair seat is a more normal height, unlike traditional sink into bucket camp chairs. You won’t be sorry for purchasing the taller seat back if you sit any length of time in a chair. The higher back offers greater support for my back and neck (2 cervical disc surgeries). The rocking motion will make it more comfortable to sit through lengthy baseball tournaments and easier on my spine. The movement will decrease back stiffness due to sitting in one position for a prolonged length of time. I wasn’t looking for a rocking chair, so that is a bonus. It also seems like it has greater strength and stability due to the specialized rocking design. While I can’t open and close it (temporary) due to restrictions of after surgery physical therapy, others can do that for me. My at-home physical therapist opened it for me the first time and tried it out too. She was impressed with how easy it was to open up, how comfortable it was and how easy it was to sit down and get out of. I can now easily sit down and get up with just my left arm. BTW: After I ordered it, I found it in an online store somewhat cheaper. While I didn’t know this when I purchased it, I’m still one happy camper and soon to be one even happier ballpark fan.

Comfortable and easy to fold. The only downside is that the folded chair is quite large and heavy to transport. However, would definitely buy again.

Ordered a pair of these chairs after a cousin showed us how comfortable they were. The chairs very comfortably fit me at 6’5” and my wife at 5’7”. They fold fairly compactly and slide into their storage bags when they are not being used. The chairs are well made, very sturdy, and the rocker motion and cup holder are very nice features. The rocking mechanism worked flawlessly and quietly until recently. I sprayed WD 40 between the chrome rods and the yellow rings at the top of the rocker mechanism, and the chair rocks smoothly and quietly again. We are very pleased with our new chairs and they have very quickly become our favorite folding chairs.

I sell at flea markets around the area and wanted a comfortable chair for when I could sit for a minute. These chairs are fantastic. The leg that stabilizes the chair when you are getting out of it is just what this 60 year old needs. I love the rocking motion. Let's not forget the net backing that allows for air flow, perfect for hot days. Very sturdy construction, light weight and great price

We have 6 kids in club sports, so comfy chairs for the parents were a must! I got this for my husband for Father’s Day, and he absolutely loves it. It’s sturdy, easy to pack up, and super comfortable — perfect for long game days. It even started a trend on the soccer sidelines because everyone wanted one after trying it! Totally worth the money and built to last.
