Fun Express Plastic Flip Flop Party String Lights Beach Luau - 1 Piece

I wouldn't even give these 1 star if I didn't have to. These came, in their own packaging, in a box. I could tell before I even took them out of their package that they were defective. The flip flops are held on by what looks like hot glue...My assumption is that they've been on the shelf for a while because all of the glue was worn and the flip flops no longer connected to the lights. There is no way to keep the flops on the lights unless you went and re-glued all of them. There was a few that you wouldn't even be able to do that with. I am really disappointed because they were for our camper and no one has these so I was excited to be different...it's all about the lights :)Anyway, don't waste your time, it's nothing but a let down.

I wish I had read the other reviews. I didn't because they looked just like sets of flip flop lights that I had had before. Boy, was I wrong! When I opened the package, most of the flip flops on both sets were off of the light strings. No big deal, but when I went to pop them back on but it was impossible! They had been attached with what looked like hot glue which had dried up. There was no way to get them to stay without gluing them, which, as someone else said, seems like a fire hazard. What kind of design is that!? Even if the glue had held, you wouldn't be able to change a bulb without picking the glue off and then regluing it! It seemed like someone stuck them on the wrong light string. The light bulbs were also different than what I had before (LED?). Worst of all, when I went to return them, I got a message that they are not eligible for return. I looked at the listing again and nowhere do I see that. I'm going to contact Amazon and I will leave an update if I get anywhere with that. Just don't waste your money on these!

When I opened the bag only 2 of the flip flops were on the light strand. At first I thought no big deal, I’ll just connect the rest. Well the hole to insert the light into the flip flop is too big. They had this weird tiny rubber cover on the light that looks like it should hold the flip flop to the light strand. But even with that the flip flops fall off of the light strand. There is something defective here. Like they bagged the wrong strand of lights with the decorative flip flops. There is also a lot of glue around the lights. That seems cheap and a possible fire hazard to me. On top of everything else, when I plugged them in they also didn’t light up!Went to amazon.com to set up a return only to find out that this is a nonreturnable item. My bad for not checking that first, I did not know such items were sold on amazon. STAY AWAY!!!

Unfortunately, these lights are defective. The glue they use to attach the flip flop to the light deteriorates while being shipped. When your light string arrives, you have a string of white lights and a handful of plastic flip flops that won’t stay on the light string. I even ordered a 2nd set because I was told it was defective and the next one would be better, but it wasn’t. It arrived exactly the same. I suppose I could have spent a lot of time and effort buying multiple glue types and trying to get them to stick for an extended amount of time but when I make a purchase, I’d like it to be free of defects and ready to use. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Purchased a product to decorate my back porch. The product arrived without the flip-flops attached to the lights themselves. The flip-flops were simply strewn in the box alongside the light strands. I spent a good hour or so hot gluing every flip-flop to every single light. Then the lights lasted for approximately four days before strands begin going out. $50 later I have one strand that remains working but it is beginning to faulter as well. Don’t waste your money

Very disappointed in this product. I wouldn't even give it 1 star; thats being kind. So not worth $10.19. I wouldn't even buy it for $1.It is very cheap. the sandals came off and i couldn't put it back on unless i used glue and even then some of them wouldn't stay on because of how messed up and how cheap the plastic is. One of the lights didn't even come with a sandal.

I ordered the plastic flip flop party string lights because I had purchased two strings in Florida and wanted more to surround the patio. When I received them, I was very disappointed in the quality of the flip flops. They did not match the ones that I already had, which cost less than these through Amazon. I am going to keep them, as they are better than nothing, but I will never order anything else from this supplier. Ok. I'm fairly easy going. If I take the time to do an Amazon review, it has to be bad. To call these garbage would actually be an insult to garbage. If you're still insistent on buying these after this review, go ahead and order some superglue so that you can reattach the flip flops before you hang them.
