Fender CD-60S Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - Natural Bundle with Hard Case, Tuner, Strap, Strings, Picks, and Austin Bazaar Instructional DVD

This is the best package combo you can get. Solid top guitar, hard case, digital tuner, strap, picks, and extra set of strings. Literally everything a beginner needs and its all good quality. The set up was perfect for me straight out the box,no adjustments needed. No sharp frets and no fret buzz. Intonation was spot on and the tuners hold in tune. All that for $249 is a steal. I have numerous begginer level acoustics, Yamaha FG800, Ibanez AW54, and this Fender CD60. Of the 3 the overall package value makes the Fender the best. The Fender is slightly heavier but the neck is the most comfortable of the 3 to me. The slightly shorter scale of the Fender makes it easier to play as well. The Yamaha I would say has a slightly more traditional dreadnaught sound but the low's and highs tend to drowned out the mids where as the Fender sounds more balanced. I noticed the seller (Austin Bazaar) offered the CD60S in two packages with hard case. One was $249 and the other was $299. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two. My fear was that the $249 was advertised wrongly and was the all laminate CD60 but I gambled and it ended up being accurate and I recieved a solid top CD60S. The package shipped by UPS arrived quickly (4 days) and in good condition. One very tiny rub mark/blemish on the bottom side of the case but no big deal. It will get many more over the years around the campfire. Upon inspection of the interior of the guitar, it is made in Indonesia. There were no globs of excess glue. There were a few pieces of bracing with excess shavings that could have been cleaned up prior to assembly but again no big deal. Overall if I was a beginner or someone getting back into playing and had a limited budget, I wouldn't hesitate to take this package get going.

100% received what I ordered in great condition and in a timely manner. Ordered enough in advance for shipping mishaps to still receive it in time for Christmas. Very beautiful deep colored dreadnought with a great sound. Perfect size for my husband that is 6”1.. Will be adding some better quality strings for a richer sound, but the ones that come on it are just fine as well. It’s not a professional grade but it’s definitely better than beginner.. a nice happy medium for the every day player that likes to travel with tunes. Huge plus that hard case is included for extra protection and durability.

The product is great. Beautiful guitar. I had an issue and Austin Bazaar took care if it 100%. Kinda surprised but - yes 100% satisfied. I was really wanted a good acoustic and this sounds great. Makes me want to go pick it up every evening.

My first guitar and I’m 72. For what it’s worth to you it seems to be a nice guitar. You get a very nice case, a tuner, picks, extra strings, a strap, etc. you don’t actually get a cd but you get a QR code for YouTube channel with Marty Schwartz. Seems like a fare deal. I’m struggling so far to play but making some nice sounds with a couple cords. Maybe I’ll learn something. Na.

I have to say, for the price I didn’t expect this instrument to be a nice as the picture it showed in the ad. Actually, the picture didn’t do it justice! The instrument is well made. No lightweight! Construction is very clean, no flaws, the color/finish is exceptional. Top notch all the way. It is a FENDER after all. Always wanted one and was nervous about ordering online for this item, I was not disappointed. It also came with all the basics to get a new player started…, strap, pitch meter, extra strings, picks, tool, and cleaning cloth with instructions. Best of all these items that came with this instrument was the case! Wow! Gorgeous case. NO FLIMSY cardboardy shell on this baby! Heavy duty, beautifully made case with a great finish, storage area inside, and with keys to lock the case if preferred. Okay, it’s been MANY (like over 30) years since I bought a new guitar. Maybe a lot of nicer brands come like this…, I don’t know. But I for one was impressed how lovely this instrument is, how well made, and how FENDER or the seller went out of their way to make sure all basic needs for a new player were included with this guitar, as well as a really well made/heavy case to keep it stored in was included with this purchase! I personally give this seller and the brand a solid 10 on this purchase! Everything was perfect! It even shipped quickly, arrived early by a day, and completely intact! Can’t beat the entire experience! THANK YOU for making this a great purchase all around! I’d definitely buy from this seller again!!

Excellent playablity and smooth action, gorgeous finish at a fantastic value! The hardshell case is also well built and protects the guitar well

Update 2: the black guitar I ordered finally arrived, not damaged. Thankful for that. This guitar is pretty and looks to be complete. The case seems nice and sturdy. I will update as we learn and see what the quality is truly like. I’m still leaving off a star for all the run around I got as well as I’m still missing the blond guitar I ordered. Update 1: Austin responded to my review, much appreciated. However, his response deflected the lack of communication to other services indicating it’s not his fault. Sure, he has no control over other services. However, he has control over communications to them about communicating to customers concerning deliveries. That part is not impressive. I added a star because he took the time to respond. My packages are now late. If they show up tomorrow, as indicated by FedEx, undamaged, I’ll update my review of the product. Right now my review of the seller stands. FedEx will also be getting a review for their part in not delivering my packages and lack of updating the tracking info in a timely manner. I’m giving a 1 star until my package arrives. Seller did NOT tell me they issued a required signature upon delivery. Although I appreciate a signature to ensure my guitar didn’t get stolen or sit in the blazing heat. Had I known the package needed a signature I would have made sure the person who WAS home stand at the door all day waiting for FedEx to arrive. I was not given any updates on my delivery until AFTER FedEx was closed for the day. The original delivery day was the 13-15. Now my package will not be delivered until the 16. Since my package is late FedEx is trying to say that the 16 is within my delivery window. I do realize the seller has zero control over FedEx, however, the seller has 100% control of letting the buyer know a signature will be required.

I played the guitar for about 4 years and then stopped when I had kids. It's been 5 years since I've played, so I guess you could say I'm relearning to play. Bought this budget guitar hoping to get back into it and upgrade if I keep interested. This is a great deal for the money. I used to play an Alvarez AD60 and although it doesnt sound quite as good, it is everything you could hope for for the price! It sounds great right out of the box after tuning it up. The action is a little high, but that's an easy fix. It comes with an extra saddle, so I can sand it down and have the other just in case I go too low. The case that comes with it is great- even better than I thought it would be. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the accessories it came with. The tuner isnt a Fender like it shows in the picture. In fact it wont even pick up the sound, so I just use an app on my phone. The stand is not like shown in the picture. Its a Crescent brand & the guitar doesn't sit on it well. The picks, strings, and strap are the only extra accessories I'll actually use. I don't feel like putting in time to try to exchange the other items, so I'll let it be. However, if you are looking for a great budget guitar I would highly recommend this. Perfect for learning, relearning, or even just an extra guitar to strum on.

Is a good guitar, well constructed good quality and nice sound.
