Medina Garrett Juice Plus Liquid Plant Food, 1 Gal

I caught onto Garrett Juice from various gardening podcasts featuring the Dirt Doctor himself. After giving it a try in the garden I can't go back to anything else! It makes for a great gentle feeding every two weeks through the growing season. I mix 1/2 cup per gallon of water and water at the base of each plant (or with a sprinkler head for plants like onions or carrots). One thing I really like about this mix is the use of molasses which not only gives it a sweet smell when applying it but also helps to up the brix level in your plants. There is a lot of evidence that increasing the brix level of plants leads to better outcomes. If you have a brix reader you can see the difference in the plant tissue before and after use of Garrett Juice. I have not tried it as a foliar application. The garden always responds well to it and plants are more lush with healthier growth. I also use a diluted concentration for seedlings (about a tablespoon in a gallon of water given at the time I see the first true leaves emerge) and it the seedlings respond well. Just keep in mind it is a "sweet" mixture so leaving the mix in a seed tray can attract insects interested in a sweet treat; easy enough to avoid by using the right amount so it doesn't sit in the seed tray. The price is reasonable compared to similar products and I can usually get a full season from 1-2 gallons of Garrett Juice.

I've been using this product all summer and the growth that I've seen with both potted and planted ornamentals I didn't even know was possible. I have elephant ears behind the pool that are taller than I am now. Sweet potato vines that I have to trim every single week. My hibiscus tree is putting on at least three flowers every single day. I've recommended this product to every single person. I know it has a garden or ornamentals. You can see the before and after of the elephant ears. That's a 1-month difference, after using the product once.

Hi Amazoners! I bought this product for my backyard garden. I'm currently using on my papaya, Fig & recently added avocado (from seed). So far, my plants are happy and healthy! My fig grew big elephant ear style leaves and my papaya is right beind it. As you can see on the pictures, they've come a long way! I also, bought some Loquat trees that i'm planning to use this product on once i plant it on the ground. For reference, I'm located in Houston (Pearland) Texas. Lots of sun and humidity in effect. So far, I'm very happy with this product, I hope my young loquat trees will also thrive healthy with this product aswell. I highly recommend this product!

Organic, works great

The ingredients are solid and the bacteria goes to work in no time, so results are visible relatively soon after application. For me, the product is a tad high when pinning price point against the application rate, although I will say that the quality is there.

I've used this for years in my gardens and in my orchards. This stuff is a beautiful fertilizer and soil conditioner. In spring the plants get a soil drench, and through the growing season it's diluted for a foliar spray. Works beautifully and keeps everything happy.

Garrett Juice is ideal for damaged plants and trees. We've used ours diluted as directed to restore shrubs and flowering plants that have been damaged by unusual cold temps. We mix, and water the roots and surrounding ground.

I used this Garrett Juice mixed with orange oil and water to pour into fire ant mounds. It worked much better than other products that are sprinkled onto the mounds as food to take to the queen. They didn't work. The Garrett Juice mixture (directions & video are on the internet - "Homemade Fire Ant Mound Drench") This is a good product and a good seller, and I'm very happy with this purchase. Kathy
