I read this to a 5 year old child, who does not love books. It held her attention. I'm kind of a children's book snob, and this one is a keeper. It's a very educational apple tree book but does it with pictures and just the right amount of words. The trick is to read with a tone of wonder and interest, and you will draw the child in. You can ask, "Do you see the..." And the child will point the different parts of the apple out. Highly recommend! Review: Apples - Such a fun informative book! We homeschool so these books by Jill McDonald are perfect! I have even created fun activities on these books that help me make sure my littles are learning about the topic. I highly recommend! Will be buying more of her books. I have attached a picture of all the activities that I got from her book.

Love Jill McDonald!!!
I bought my son Jill McDonald's Solar System book when he was an infant. He's now turning 3 and I will continue to buy her Hello World books for him and his baby sister. One of his favorite places to go is our local apple orchard, so this book was especially interesting and relevant to him. This book explains how apples grow from seeds, as well as the different parts of an apple, and how apples get from farm to store. Jill McDonald's books are beautifully illustrated, easy to follow, and simply worded without ever feeling "babyish". As toddlers get older they get more interested in the bonus facts that the books contain. Even my son's 8 year old cousins like to read these books with him, so based on our experience they do appeal to a wide age range. They're a really fun introduction to STEM subjects for little learners. Highly recommend!

Who knew apples could be so interesting
I was pretty blown away by this book. The simple yet instructive approach to explaining how apples grow was amazing! The illustrations are also great. This was a random purchase that easily joined the rotation into our reading for a bit (purchased when child was 3). Just the other day my daughter mentioned this book while we were at the farm picking out apples.

Great little books
Great book, like all of them in this series, I pair these with sensory bins in the same subject. ( we do an apple pie making bin with oatmeal , cinnamon sticks, apples and felt dough’s strips, for this one.)

Cute book
My little 18 month old loves flipping through these books. She’s learned so much and we will still get to enjoy them once she starts to read. I’ve got 16 of the other books. Main selling point on these hard backs is kids are easily able to turn the pages.

Fresh, Crispy Apples
"Hello, World! How Do Apples Grow?" is another book in the children's series that I've added to my granddaughter's collection! Each book in this series is a delightful journey into the wonders of nature, and "How Do Apples Grow?" is no exception. With its charming illustrations and engaging storytelling, it captivates my granddaughter's imagination and instills in her a love for learning about the world around her. These books provide the perfect balance of education and entertainment, making them a staple in our family's reading time. I highly recommend "Hello, World! How Do Apples Grow?" to anyone seeking to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning in their little ones.
