CamelBak Podium Replacement Mud Cap Black, One Size

Works great on camelback podium bottle to keep road dirt and mud of the bottle mouth piece.

⁃ This mud cap fits my Camelbak Podium bottles, the 21 oz Podium Ice bike bottle and the 21 oz Podium chill insulated bottle. ⁃ Before using these caps, I would have to clean out the grit and debris that would get onto the tops of the water bottles. ⁃ Now, I just open the cap, drink out of the spout of the bottle and place back the mud cap. ⁃ The caps stay in position and close well enough with no movement or flapping when you are on the bike. ⁃ I have used the caps on my road bike, gravel bike and fat bike. The caps work well in dusty, muddy, rainy and snowy rides. ⁃ Once you get them, you’ll wonder how you drank out of your bottle without them.

If you own a CamelBak compatible (Podium series) bottle and are using them when biking, you may not have realized how much you will like this cap cover. On days when I'm on trails or gravel, this cap simply keeps the business end of the bottle clean. It's also soft and seems durable and can be left on the bottle screw cap for cleaning. It may seems a little expensive, but you'll forget that once you start using it.

I bought this for my c.2018 podium, and the fit is very loose. On the Camelbak website they have an older version of this cap listed, but it doesn't look like those are available anymore. However, if you have any Purist bottles with Moflo caps, these fit perfectly! It doesn't cover the entire mouthpiece, but keeps dirt and dust out of the valve opening, which I don't mind. These are kind of pricey for what they are, but they're worth it to me if I don't have to take sips of dirt on my next bike ride!

So far working great on my Podium Water Bottle. Nice to be able to take a drink without spitting out sand and dirt on the trail. Stays on tight and doesn't get in the way when taking a drink. Cap comes off and goes on relatively easily, but takes an extra couple seconds to get on when riding the trail. Should come standard with all Podium Bottles and should be made in the US instead of China as I think all Camelbak products should be, but aren't.

Excellent product. Must need if you ride MTB or Gravel. On my off road bikes the recess of the nozzles fill up with dirt, dust and grime and are pretty hard to wipe off on a ride. To eliminate you drinking the dust, install these and problem solved. Very glad these were recommended to me by a fellow Reddit user

Have purchased these many times and will continue to do so. They fit the Camelbak bottles well and keep the lid clean and protected.
